@Just Moi Same here, I used to think it was me! When I first distanced myself they started befriending everyone I know even going on holiday with them all trying to make me feel fomo! They will go to any extent to make you destroy yourself and make you feel what they feel: 'chronic jealousy'. Being strong, not reacting and making a new life with ppl who are not toxic will set you free from these demons. They are suffering, not us, but they want to make us suffer through their projections. No contact is the only answer. They cannot change.
People at work. Damn they drain me daily. They try finding every little thing to make me look bad. Regardless, within 4 years I have achieved more than they have an for that reason they tried to make me fall.
God won’t let them. He is with me through the struggle, thank you God.

I've noticed how negative ppl tend to want someone to be negative with them, to agree with their victimhood, or whatever their beef is; once you put a positive or even a neutral spin on their negative vibe they tend to go away, or at least they change the subject. Transmute their negativity back to them as positivity. Peace.

I'm realizing that negative and narcissistic people always have enablers. And if you give negative / narcissistic people anything other than pity, sympathy, or praise - The enablers scold you for not having empathy. It's like watching a negative person drowning and giving them a life vest. Only for a enabler to lecture you, slap the life vest out of your hand, and give the drowning person a lollipop instead. That doesn't feel empathetic to me and certainly isn't rescuing the drowning person. But I must accept that people are where they are in life. And if it's stuck in victomhood then I have to respect that boundary. I won't offer them a life vest nor a lollipop. I won't offer them anything.

I agree! Family is hard to say no. I struggle with saying no when I know their using me. My Grandmother used to say if I do my part it doesn't matter what they do. I am ok with that it just I don't want to be used and abused.
I’m 25. My family took the life out of me for as long as I can remember. Now, as an adult, I see reminders of them in the workplace. I use my upbringing as fuel to stay away from those people in my everyday life.

I just saw this video today and boy am I glad I found it. Last week my sister cut me out of her life because of who I voted for in the presidential election. I had heard before of people ending friendships, relationships as well as family disowning each other over politics but it never happened to me before last week. I have been so devastated. How can anyone do this? But she is a very negative person. She can't seem to tolerate people who think differently than her. Four years ago she cut my dad and stepmom out of her life over a stupid argument. As hard as it has been for me to move on this video helped me a lot. I am not the negative one. I would never cut people out of my life over not agreeing on something. After seeing this video I'm realizing that my sister actually did a good thing by distancing herself from me. She can keep her negativity. I will rise above this and be the positive one.
2019 was a year of a bunch of lessons. Only God knows what He wished to teach me. I hope the Lord guards me from any haters and guard me from the evil one. I hope God blesses my heart so I could do better in my attitude. In Jesus name, amen.

I’m glad that I found this video. I’m in the middle of changing and pulling myself away from a group of people constantly start drama and seem to blame me for everything. At first I thought it was me until I realize I am not at fault for this. They live off of drama it is the air they breathe and that is not who I am. That is not who I want to be that is not how I was raised.
Just sharing, I normally create a qi ball or bubble around me so as not to absorb their energy. Sometimes if the energy is really dark it can poke into the ball and affect you. I just bless them, vibrate higher and move on other things.

I honestly really needed this. Thanks. This made me feel so much better about myself. This made me feel me. This made me feel strong. It made me realize that negative people are just jealous about people who are happy. Because they never had the happiness that you have. NEVER let someone take your happiness.
It's hard rebuilding but hearing these positive things again help so much to rewire the mind. A few years ago I went through a rapid metamorphosis.. out of depression and into gratitude and happiness.. valued self.. couldn't even eat greasey or sugary things.. lost 70 lbs. I let one bad person in because I was riding that natural high and that one negative person I tried to lift up, pulled me down with him. I am so disappointed over that and I regressed. But I remember how much protecting my energy and valuing my peace and respecting myself.... loving myself for real. I have to rebuild but I know I can and will and I'm gonna protect myself forever no exceptions. Mental health is wealth. When your mind is right... everything gets right and in sync too. A healthy mind is everything in my opinion!

This holds true for relatives and so-called friends. I learned that you can move on from toxic relatives and so-called friends, and you be better because of it. Relatives use the “family “ string as an excuse to use, drain and abuse your goodwill. Sometimes they’re worse than supposed friends. I follow the philosophy that just because they share the same blood line as you doesn’t make them true family. They’re just relatives that have common DNA. Family is a community of love, trust and respect, which doesn’t have to be bound by blood ties.
