    • @vyriets
      @vyriets 4 года назад +2

      Most iru and eru verbs are ichidan verbs. You simply remove the ru to change it to its other forms.
      Ex. Taberu -> Tabenai
      Taberu -> Tabemasu
      Taberu -> Tabetai
      Miru -> Minai
      Miru -> Mimasu
      Miru -> Mitai
      For godan verbs, you change the last vowel sound to either A I E or OU because each letter or base is used for conjugating to other meanings.
      Base 1 or A sound allows for negation
      Ex. Nomu -> Nomanai
      Base 2 or I sound allows for polite form or desire
      Nomu -> Nomimasu (polite)
      Nomu -> Nomitai (want to drink)
      Base 3 or U sound is dictionary or plain form
      I won't get into more detail since I might give out wrong information as I'm still a beginner, but I hope this helps.
