I have a few different mood disorders, plus pain. My first budgie, who wasn't typically very cuddly, used to snuggle with me and wipe my tears with her feathers. My current budgie senses when I'm upset or in pain and sings and chirps very soft and nice. Both such sweet girls 💕

OMG! I'm so glad, that is very scary when we think they might be ... not good. I wish you both long happy chirpy lives! My guy is OK but there was a moment I thought he wasn't well and it scared me.
Birds do sense all these things. I’m chronically ill and my birds do change their behaviour around me when I’m having bad days. They become cuddlier and gentler, and tend to sit on me more. Birds are very emotionally aware.
I have 2 very tame budgies. When my son got sick from covid19, he needed to stay in bed for 2 days (due to high fever). EVERY time i let the birds out, they flew to him, sat close to his face, espcially his mouth, and just staid close for 1-2 hours. That was not normal behaivior from them, normally the great us, sit a little time close to us, talk, play, and then fly around playing themselves. But when on was sicks, Budgies stayed close to him, especially his face and mouth. Amazing :-)
I had no idea👀 I was sick a few weeks ago and my budgies were really calm lol Usually they chirp all day but when I was sick they just didn’t chirp as much and since I always spent time with them and talked to them in a baby voice, I guess they missed my baby voice😃 they were so quiet and just did their normal routine without chirping as much. The next day, I talked to them in a baby voice and they were so happy! They kept chirping and chirping🥺 but great video!😎
All true; my parakeets keep still when I'm still in bed in the morning but once they see me awake and walking around they will increase their volume. Or the time when I was sad, the older budgie will come to my shoulder and gives me cuddles🥰
my mango has been observing me for months and he knows what time i get his food so he follows me quietly by walking and not flying then once i open the seed or pellet container he flies so quick and goes beserk lmao
I had the flu for a week, my bird was completely normal and energetic as always. A few days after being completed miserable unable to get out of bed or do anything besides take a hot bath, I was getting ready to lay down and rest and sleep for the night and as always, I went to give him more food and water (as I did every morning or night depending) I noticed he was trying to sleep at the bottom of his cage. I thought he was just trying to sleep I didn’t know this was bad at the time, he looked comfy. A few minutes later I came back in the room and he was in the other corner not at all in the right position for sleep, and he looked lifeless. He was still alive but wasn’t moving and wasn’t making any noise. I knew something was seriously wrong at that point and that he was dying. I picked him up and held him and pet him until he had some kind of weird small short seizure and passed away in my hands. I’m still unsure of why or how he died. I was devastated and cried my eyes out for so long. I really want to know what happened. One day he’s happy as always doing his thing and the next he was just gone. I feel horrible for not knowing something was wrong but he genuinely wasn’t showing any symptoms of being ill. I’d also like to note that I had recently switched to a different bird seed (still meant for my bird type) and he didn’t seem to care I don’t think. I gave him treats pretty often probably once a week and he would eat it when he felt like it. I had him for about 5-6 years and I’m not sure how old he was when I got him. We got him from a breeder. Their life spans are supposed to be 10-14 years and he didn’t even get to live it all. He was a cockatiel by the way, yellow and a little gray. My sister had named him Lemon.
I'm so sorry, I know how that feels. The same thing happened to me with my lovebird. She passed away all of a sudden, in my hands. The vet told me that since birds are preys, they never show when they're not feeling well (that's a behavior that should discourage predators out in the wild). Most times, once they show us it's too late. That's why they leave us so suddenly, they hide the fact that they're not okay.

This video is so true. I remember that when my cockatiel was kept overnight at the vet with what could potentially be (but thankfully wasn't) a fatal issue, my budgie (who will normally come to the front of the cage if I greet her, but is otherwise quite hands-off) sat on my shoulder for most of the night as I cried.
I've experienced that first one so many times. I've had quite a few different pet birds in my life, and they have always acted concerned if I am ill or upset. It's so touching when they simply decide that their Personal Human needs them by their side on a particular day for cuddles and general care. It's truly one of the best things about keeping a bird!
I got my budgies 7days ago and I have followed all you told... And wished you could upload new videos too... I love to look and them and I try to tame them but they are so scared of me they fly even if I put my hand inside for cleaning the cage they fly 🥺🤧 I really feel bad I also want to train them and do many trick with them but they and not even stepping on my finger inside the cage also😐 but I won't give up...
I think your expecting too much, too fast. You said that you just got them 7 days ago, you need to give them time to settle in with their move...but dont isolate them. Then you need to practice patience. They will do all of these things...but not in a week! Watch more videos to learn the best way to train them. There are some great ones. This channel for sure, Birdtricks, Flock talk, Elle and her birds, all of these will help. There are others that arent coming to mind at the moment...sorry! Good luck to you! 🐤

I think about my bird seeing me naked all the time I put her in the bathroom with me so she can have the steam and then I put a different towel over the cage so I could dry off
This video is so true.
In my opinion, most of human's pet animals are angels.
Why does this guy sound like Jordan Peterson of birds?
Hii, i have a question when start your baby budgie taming.
From the first day it is in your home
@@Eugenia-i6f no bro
@@Eugenia-i6f from how old budgie i start taming my baby budgie

I didn't know budgies know all this stuff!. Cool video. Some of the facts were so cute!
i walk around naked all the time when home. my birds see me more naked than w clothes
I am talking a cockatail what size of cage I get plz reply😊
I've experienced that first one so many times. I've had quite a few different pet birds in my life, and they have always acted concerned if I am ill or upset. It's so touching when they simply decide that their Personal Human needs them by their side on a particular day for cuddles and general care. It's truly one of the best things about keeping a bird!
I didn’t know my bird was peeping 👀
Hi you always said human saliva is toxic for birds then how come that girl feeding her bird from her mouth, its not is dangerous for birds?
Yes, I agree; that can be very dangerous to both human and bird!
Same my bird died from sickness as well
I’m on this video bc I had a bird who loved me but died really soon and he was the only 1/3 who liked me and I got a new one but it’s a baby like my first one did but my new one doesn’t love me as much as my other one and I miss having a bird on my shoulder😢
how many budgies do you have?
Your birds are so adorable 😍
Nice video. Sometimes it's good to change the point of view😉
My birds are usually rlly cuddly or kind but when I’m ill they act ill to and it’s now a pattern 💀
By the way love you and and ur budgie
I think them like my little babies
