Wow! That is probably the best tutorial I've seen so far. I will be subscribing to your channel. Thank you for making my DJI experience so much easier to understand and learn about my DJI Mini 4 Pro.
What happened to the days when we listened to a technical tutorial without background music? It's detracts from what you're trying to teach , and makes me feel like I'm watching a commercial. Other than that, good information.
I've always used the 1080p video transmission clips that were saved to my Android's camera roll to quickly send to news agencies. They were decent 1080p quality with audio. What is my answer to this while using the RC2?
It sounds like you're using the low quality proxy files, which I would be even lower quality than 1080p, and not using QUICK TRANSFER to get the Hugh quality files to your phone.
Correct...I use the high quality originals to edit and post to RUclips or send as finished projects to clients. I used the lower quality 'feed' videos to send to news agencies and post to my social media right from my phone in my vehicle at the scene. And yes, they actually are decent 1080 clips. @SlipstreamCreativeAgency
Ah yes, it was 2 clips one with things on the table and one without. I then key framed a swipe to reveal the shot with no drone on the table. A bit of a fiddle.
Great video very detailed. I didn't see a setting for RID like the other controllers. have they updated your controller for it yet. also is the box that it came in or the mini 4 pro came in say RID on the back of the box?
I don't have a lot of experience here as its not required in the UK. But it's been available for quite some time through a firmware update anyway. So DJI are making drones compliant to FAA RID rules and this is the latest release so you won't have a problem
You don't need to connect the DJI RC 2 to a network to for the RID to work. If the Remote ID serial number is displayed in “Available networks” of the WLAN, that means that it is already working.
At minute 9:19 you state the red icon is for satellite position. This is incorrect, that red tells you obstacle sensors not active, nothing to do with satellites. Also you state that the drone takes off in normal mode no matter what mode is selected is wrong. I take off in sport mode all the time. Great video, thanks.
Thanks for the tutorial, I still have a question. Can I connect the RC 2 with a Macbook Pro M2 in order to practice with liftoff simulator? if yes, how?

Question...In regards to the controller I've seen video's with people (from the home screen) select album...forwards to that folder (aircraft content/Saved) but on the bottom left I see the option to select create....from there you can edit content on the controller (absolutely wild). Any reason why its not showing up on my RC2? I was wondering if it had to do something with the file storage/sd card . I hope that made sense.
@SlipstreamCreativeAgency I did...I'm still unsure how to edit a video on the Rc 2...ill click on the 3 dots but that option doesn't appear. That's a game changing feature for me
Look at me lol disregard..its the controller...Id need the controller pro.....so far its not compatible with the Mini 4....would be a nice update if they added the Ocusync 2.0. The bigger drones look nice but you just can't beat the sense of peace with the weight of the Mini 4. Thank you I look forward to more reviews.
By any chance does your “flight mode switch” rattle? I just got mine and it’s a little loose. It seems to be a common thing from what I found online and was wondering if yours was the same?
I just got my Air 3 two weeks ago and the weather here in Canada has not been cooperative. I am able to use the SD card as my main source for recording without having to transfer from the RC2 memory. Maybe DJI fixed that issue? Another question, if I may, does the aux light only come on only during flight? Appreciate your response. Great and informative video. I'v been flying recreational drones for over ten years or so and it's always a learning curve with any new model. Thank you!
Thanks buddy. I've had other issues downloading Flight log. Can you navigate to the folder on the RC2 out of interest. DJI have actually asked me to send mine back as they think there's a problem with it. I think the aux light comes on automatically at night. But not looked into it. I'll let you know.
Hi, no, just low resolution cache'd clips. But you can view your clips on the controller and also do quick transfer from drone to phone Fly App, I have a video on that if you're unsure how to do that. Hope that helps 😉
Grazie...e complimenti
Thank you for the explanation. I have one question. Which is the use of the bluetooth for? What could be connected to the controller by bluetooth? Thank you for your videos.
@michidel6740 thanks for the encouragement. I've just completed my commercial drone license, GVC. So been putting a lot of time into that. Is there anything specific you'd like to see a video on?
@@SlipstreamCreativeAgency Congrats!!! Buff, a lot of things. I'm using Mini 2 and Air 3 although things here is Spain is getting really hard to fly a drone, I do not want to give up. Some of my friends and drone pilots are selling their drones here because of the new laws here. I'm reviewing your videos about Air 3. B the way, yu know how can I quick transfer the screen records from RC 2 to cell phone using quick tansfer. Thank you for your time, keep doding these excellent videos.
@michidel6740 Hiya, you can't quick transfer from RC2 and Bluetooth is unreliable. When traveling I plug in a SSD USB-C drive and copy files to that. I do the same with the phone, but you could copy from the drive to the phone. So it's not super quick but you can do it. I'll have to look at the Spanish dron rules. Just filmed a video on using the Air 3 for filming wedding videos ( safely and legally) so watch out for that 😉
9:16 - that icon (to the right of the RC icon) has nothing to do with the satellites, that is the vision sensor status icon. If it is white it is working normally, if red they're not. If it is red it could be because you're in sport mode, it's too dark, they're disabled in the safety menu, or they're blocked by dirt or debris.
If you are out recording. Filming requires a camera that uses film and yes people say film or filming, they are wrong. You would be more accurate, though still wrong if you said taping. Great Video. Peace.
Yes, I have seen a RUclipsr friend BlairAir put an attachment there for a single point lanyard. I've not bothered as I like the dual point and often have one arm through like I'm carrying a camera, stops the RC flapping around when I'm setting up etc
i bought my rc2 controller 1 month ago i charge my rc 2 100% thne i kept it later 4 hour ago i saw its batter level is 93% plz tell me its normal or not i m worring about it
The batteries won't stay 100% so don't worry. Drone batteries are smart batteries and will reduce to 50% or less over a week. Just fully charge everything the day before flying. 🫡
Yes, absolutely. I used my one from Air 3 with 4 Pro, but with Air 3s, it went mad. See my video on it. So I sent Air 3s ba k and bought a new combo, and it works fine. I actually think it was a drone firmware problem, but I didn't want to take the risk of repeatedly losing control of the drone. I also thought when selling it probably is better to have an RC2 Air3s combo.
@kaptajnsejersen6303 ha, I just got mine this weekend and had 5 lost data connections. Have you had any issues? Apparently, you can shoot verticle in 2.7k but it's cropping the sensor. So I think you might as well shoot 4k and crop your self.
Great video again, very clear and easy to understand. I wonder if you have discovered how to designate C1 or C2 to operate the camera choice rather than using the controller touch screen? I saw one video in which the guy said he used the C2 to nominate his choice of camera on the Air 3 while videoing.
The goggles are a pain in the butt, my Avata is very complicated to get up in the air... way to many cords, batteries, need your phone, etc .. the air 3 with xreal air glasses is MUCH better, plus you can keep line of sight thru the glasses
