  • Come along and explore BRATISLAVA with us! We visit the Bratislava Castle, the "Wedding cake" Blue Church, wander the Old Town and of course eat some delicious traditional Slovak food. While it may lack the major tourist attractions that other European capitals have, Bratislava makes up for it by its charming and peaceful atmosphere. Its only a 1 hour drive from Vienna and 2 hours from Budapest, we definitely think its worth at least staying for 2-3 days to explore this extremely underrated capital city.
    We hope you enjoy the vlog!

    I am from Slovakia. I am glad that you liked our food. I think that Slovak cuisine is very tasty and otherwise cabbage soup is made at Christmas. Good luck and great video.

      Hi Karol! We LOVED our time in Bratislava so much - the food is incredible (we miss the cabbage soup and sheeps cheese dumplings!) Thank you for watching and enjoying our video 😊

    I think the main reason why many foreigners don't like Kofola is because they assume (or are told) that it is a local version of a Cola. Then it tastes watered down to them and with some strange "hues". Kofola is in fact more like a non-alcoholic, coffee and herb flavoured alternative to beer. I bet that it tastes better to the first timers if they have this expectation on their minds.

    As English speakers, how hard was it to navigate Bratislava?

    • @KristyandSteve
      @KristyandSteve  6 месяцев назад +1

      Hello! Possibly one of the easiest cities to navigate. People are lovely and speak good English so are always willing to help if we asked. Its also a very small capital city so very walkable and easy to use trams ☺️
