the horrid king assassins are not venomous as in deadly, but the bite DOES cause a lot of pain. Also they can spray it, and if you get it in your eyes it can cause damage, as well as pain.

i’m 99.9 percent sure the spraying thing is a myth. they’re capable of spraying shit everywhere but I don’t think their shit is as toxic as their venom. or toxic at all

Did you ever catch a bite from Psytalla horrida? I've heard bad things about that experience, but mine were always very chill whenever hunger wasn't involved in their decision making process.

@@rebel4466 I've come VERY close before when fulfilling an order for a customer. The adults don't seem to like it when you're grabbing the nymphs at all, and had nearly 3 of them grab me when trying to scoop some out 🤣

The question mark roaches are truly beautiful. That flat, ellipsoid shape combined with that amazing pattern is stunning. Just great creatures to look at. And you gotta love the assassin bugs! Generally ambush predators, plus they are truly bugs. I presented a report on them as a budding entomologist in 3rd grade because I was sick of people calling every insect and spider they see as a "bug"

One thing about assassin bugs... NEVER look at them at close range without goggles because I was once sprayed in the eye by mine and it HURTS LIKE FIRE and my ones were only just white spotted assassin bugs

I love my Rubber Duckys!!!! The problem they are easy to care for, but reproduction is a mystery. Mine have produced babies, but I did nothing different, dry 1/2 leaves and 1/2 damp reptisoil. 3 months no babies and then lots of tiny babies, They also take a long time to grow,
    Good luck!!!
