I have a pet jumping spider but it's wild and I'm 12. Is it OK for your first jumping spider to be wild??? Also I don't no her in star. Help?
Yes that is absolutely okay! 😀 though with wild caughts, it is much more difficult to properly age them. Also, when it comes to feeding them, just catching wild insects is usually frowned upon. Because they could have come in contact with parasites and pesticides, you don’t want your spider to be eating that. So it’s best to get some feeders at your local pet store. And of course feeding them the appropriate size of prey. ☺️

Please make a video on how to make the decor for your enclosures! I have started collecting supplies for my own jumping spiders (will be checking out Melissa’s site for some to purchase). My daughter caught a jumping spider from our backyard a few days ago. It’s probably about an i4-i5 from what I can tell. So I would love to make some enclosures that have themes for the spiders, like you have. Your enclosures are stunning. They’re the perfect combination of having decor but also looking relatively nature-like. Your enclosures are very similar to what I would make myself. I’ve looked on Etsy but man, they are expensive for something that I know I can make at home. So a tutorial would be appreciated! 🤍

@@jameandthegiantpeach2273 thats the stage of their moulting process :) the spider is very teeny tiny in i4-i5. I'm quite bad at complaining, so you might wanna search it up!

My junping spider was injured by a grasshopper. I Dr not see what happen but I believe my spider fell from top of her enclosure and when that happened she injured her leg, it did not come off but is bent. What should I do? Please help!
Is she an adult? Or does she still have some molts left before reaching maturity?

If you are referring to Tarantula Cribs, you definitely are paying for quality. Their acrylic is very high quality, insanely clear, and doesn’t warp unlike low quality ones. Not to mention the magnetic closure for added reassurance of no escapees 😀
