@@ItzAkrii there is so many out there i think my favourite are the pink ones I habe out of all tje ones I habe . I do love the cows and kings too
@@JPsPetNation yes, im not one for bugs but all of them are quite pretty!
The *FANCY* rollie pollies.
I used to play with roly-polies when I was younger. And spiders and beetles and lady-bugs and dragonflies and crickets. Basically a lot of bugs lol. So many fascinating creatures in nature.
Me too!! Was the only girl in the neighborhood that liked all types of buggies.
My favourites were dairy cow isopods but my new favourite is now the Armadillidium werneri orange :) They are so amazing looking!
I find it wonderful that you both find such joy is the simple beauty of the world. It is so heart warming 💓
I think the isopod addiction is contagious😂 I watched a couple of SD’s videos on isopods and ended up buying myself two cultures, and I totally want to get more 😂
get them then.
Where is the place to buy them?

I just found you and you guys are just too damn genuine to not love. Good work, and thank you for all of the information I’ve already learned!
Hey! Watching this from Spain and the "Spain" variety is for real the kind I used to find around my school playground when I was a kid 😅 #unlockingmemories We used to call them "bicho bola" which means "ball bug"🤗🤗
Same in Portugal!
There are so many words for isopods and I love it. I'm from Oregon in the US and we call them roly-polys (rollie pollies), but then just one US state over they're called pill bugs.
@@mikkurzhal7390 I grew up in California, and we called them "Roly-Polys" and "Pill bugs" and "Potatoe Bugs"
We never ever called them Isopods though.
I loved teasing them into little round balls though. I thought it was interesting when Ed said that the ones they have locally are all brown, which is curious, as the ones where I grew up were all stone grey, a little lighter than the "Spain" variety.
I like how how ed got some cash and Emily told him to spend it on whatever he wanted and the thing ed decides would be a great way to spend it..is isopods xD gosh I wish I had that kind of financial freedom.
The fact ed said babe to Emily melted my heart i have never heard them act like they are actually married lol
I love what you do with your time while Ed is away, Emily! Very inspirational! I shall now practice with a potato of my own! Thanks for the idea!
LOL🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂👏👏👏👏👏👏
I love Isopods. Mine are bright orange and replenish themselves. They are doing great in my Land Snail enclosures. An Isopod Auction to support a member of the reptile community was very kind.
That intro was the most random thing ever and I love it
Lol i love you guys. So sweet. Ed gets a bonus and like the sweet little dork he is he bought a grand of pretty bugs lol. Stay golden Ed. You both are beautiful souls. 💕
I never thought I would see someone spend 1,000 dollars on bugs
fr everyone id know would spend 1,000 to get rid of them.
I dunno... I've spent a lot of money on Bethesda games...

The way she destroys her potato creation with dried spaghetti XD 😂😂😂
If Emily says she's been working at the facility recently, we can predict there's going to be a facility update soon
(:
"You told me to spend it on anything I wanted, so I bought isopods"
That sounds like something I would do...
Same here or in inverts 😂😂
Me who called them Rolly pollys my entire life : C O N F I S I O N
Me too lol I still call them Rolly pollys
me too😁
Same
They are isopods specifically land isopods This means they aren't bugs lol
I was so confused when thay said Isopods than she opened it and I saw it and I was like that's a really polly
We had pill bugs in my yard growing up, I don’t like most bugs but I grew a love for isopods!
The way they feel when you hold them is so cool and they are just so cute, as a kid I would build little houses out of rock for them and just watch them. They used to live under the flat rocks we had!
Hey snake discovery we love y’all!
Who doesn’t?!?!?
Yeah really
When your facility opens I am SO going to drag family all the way to Wisconsin. I wanna see Rex, Tiny, and of course some derpy hognose snakes!
It will be well worth it . Is it a long drive / fly for you ?
2:20 me, buying popcorn, ramen, and lunchables as a college sophomore: *“I spend money well”*
WOW! Had no idea isopods came in so many colors and patterns. As a kid loved them. Called them rolly polly's and found them fascinating. Such pretty isopods. The ones that hiss, amazing!
Emily: trying to stack sticks on potato
Ed: **comes in room**
Emily: **bye bye potato**
when ed comes in and u are playing with RAW spegetti and a rock lol
I'm sure that was a potato
It’s a potato
Why you do all caps for raw like cooked spaghetti would have been better 🤣
It was a potato
I think that was a potato
I just had a mind-blowing moment when I realized that isopods were rolly polys! 😲😲
Lol I never realized that!!
We are so excited to hear about Smug Bug, as we live in Bismarck where they are based. We are planning to order our granddaughter a gift card so she can start her isopod collection! So fun!! 🤩
The noise I made at the hissing pillbugs was well-nigh indecent and I am supremely glad no one but my cats heard me. SO FREAKIN' CUTE!!!
