😍
Game changer not having drag your clothes off and wait for them!
Nice job using up your leftovers.
You two are so inspiring and enjoyable to watch.
Thanks Regina, so happy with how it turned out!
Whilst a new washer and dryer will not have been cheap, compared to using a launderette (Expensive), they will pay for themselves in no time. Plus you gain so much extra time (no trips to the Launderette) to develop your dream. Love seeing every little bit coming together, a new laundry room, a greenhouse, a garden, little projects that make a BIG difference, and soon a small house. Wishing you every success in your future endeavors. Love from Yorkshire.
Luckily for us iue washing machine was from our old house we sold to buy the land, we had stored it in our candle studio and the dryer was Jon's parents old one, so it was great we didn't have to buy anything 🎉
@@CampOutWest Wow even better, Nothing to be paid but everything to be gained.🤟
I really love how you guy's are not wasting anything and making very good use of it. A good example being set i feel. Keep up the good work and hopefully we are now through the worse of the rain now.
Such a good feeling using up all our off cuts and left over bits. Can't believe we can now wash our clothes on the land 🎉
@@CampOutWest it is but the smallest of thing's that gives the greatest pleasure. I remember when I no longer needed a launderette. The 7 miles to get there, the 1 hour of being there etc . 👍😁
Dirt (,muck) and mud is the reason farmers wear coveralls, and people before washing machines wore aprons and sleevecovers. Using a catch the dirt layer as your outer layer of clothes will save wear on your clothes and a lot of washing.
Do love a pair of overalls!
Woohoo!🎉; Time and money saver, so great! And their little shed is so cute! ❤
I hope that people get inspiration from your use of your leftover materials/stuff…. Great work… the planning and thought is so evident as well as the skill! You are really impressive people! Anyone who can keep going through all 4 seasons in one day…. Very inspiring ! Love the progress!
Thanks Andrea ❤ the best feeling putting all our off cuts to good use.
You kids are great! We enjoy watching you and admire your resourcefulness and work ethic. Thanks for allowing us to share your adventure. We are old enough to be your grandparents, btw, and have lived as you are now. May the LORD bless you and continue to protect and keep you.
Thank you so much ❤
The dog is eyeing up his new kennel! Nice build
🤣🤣🤣🤣 this made us laugh out loud. To be fair she quite liked it inside
Love that you are using all the left overs to make your laundry home.❤️❤️❤️
The most satisfying feeling 🙂
The little laundry shed was a great idea to save money in the long run. AND you can wash Maggie’s blankets too. Saw the sign at the launderette about dog blankets. :( I understand where they are coming from, but still annoying.
Now, you might kick yourselves later that you didn’t build a covered porch for your shed. Then you can do laundry in all weather! Of course, you can always add that later to the front and enclose it too when you have the funds.
We sometimes used to use a outdoor laundry station by our candle studio and we used it once after someone had washed their dog blankets and our clothes sadly got COVERED 😅 maybe they should have dedicated dog/animal blanket washing machines instead 😍
My 2nd Great Grandmother was born in Pembrokeshire Wales and left with her parents to travel to the USA when she was 6 weeks old back in 1855.
Now, you only have to find a way to make your own detergent so your washing experience will be totally free! I love the confidence you had! "We built a house, we can built a wee shed!" Well done! Wishing you some really good weather!
Oh we actually used 'soap nuts' a few years ago in our old house! I'd love to give that ago again 😄
It must feel like luxury being able to do the laundry on site. Chuffed for you
I absolutely love your channel. You use everything you make it less expensive. You young people really amaze me. You use your ingenuity and determination to achieve what you want and what you need.
Maggie is so inquisitive, and I love watching how she acts. Thank you for sharing your amazing journey! 👏 😊
Did U know U can make detergent from boiled down ivy leaves 😊
@@CampOutWest Ha! I came to recommend soap nuts! They are awesome and last so long. Great thing is they can be composted after.
Putting the old slab to use for the washing machine was a great idea and that was a lovely laundry cabin you made well done. Great that you can do it off grid so kind of Anker to send you their product as they are very expensive to buy. You are both looking so much happier and your green house is lovely and so glad you could purchase stuff from the people retiring at the garden nursery to use. We've had nothing but rain all week too. A lovely video and have a lovely week.
Thank you 💛 the slabs have been so useful! We have our chickens on top of another old slab on the land too, just means nothing can dig underneath them🥰
That's a cracking build, it really is lovely to see you working together and what a result!
Thanks Jose! Super happy with how it turned out 😃
Great use of all the leftover materials. Not only will you save the money on using the laundrymat but the fuel going to and from.....and the time. Anker really need to use Maggie in some of their advertising. A picture of her next to their different units would make them sell like hot cakes. You are really starting to put your mark on the property and should be proud. Cheers from Carol in Australia.
great saving! great teamwork as usuel. unjoying your vids.
Love love love this - great ingenuity ! Keep them coming!
Was waiting to see you.

It`s nice to see the equipment being recycled and put to good use .Well done.
Great job guys, love the way you use all the stuff up Happy clothes washing
What a fantastic addition to the site - so accessible and using up so much stuff that was leftover. I know the hardware would have cost you a few pounds - and maybe the roofing felt - but a very big 'well done' on the laundry cabin! Here's to good weather for you and for the roof! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Jim! Luckily we had half the roofing felt left over from a previous job, so we only needed a little patch at the front, but I reckon all in all it cost us £100, which is amazing!
Great video love the washer and dryer build..❤❤❤
Every little thing you two build is adorable
Oh that must have been exciting and it looks so nice! Well done!
WOW u two work so well together luv the washer and dryer idea😊😊😊

its so amazing to see how quickly your land is turning into a cosy homestead. love the Episode as always. hopefully one day i will be in a similar situation like both of you supplying your own food and building your dream homes. you guys are so amazing. keep it up!!
Could not have been any more timely for me! Been fixing up an old shed with the hopes of moving my machines out of my kitchen and this keeps me motivated!!
Always a good time of year to get the hands in the dirt and plant! My dads tomatoes have gone. Mental, hope your veggies do too. Power station looks crazy, hope it works for you.
Great use of surplus materials, well done both. Here’s hoping for a break in the weather so that you can crack on with the Tiny House Build. Looking forward to the next instalment. Enjoy your new on-site launderette in the meantime. Paul 👍👍
Wow - Pure Luxury - an tumble dryer Off Grid!!! 😊 Great vid guys - thank you ✌🌿
You guys are so inspirational, the weather here in Wales has been almost constant rain. Love how you looked at your spend and solved your problem and used materials you already had on site to build your own laundry room.
All made in between the rain, well done. Looking forward to watching your next video as your home comes to life.
Xxx
Congratulations. This will be a huge time saver. A lot more efficient.
Great job with the laundry shed 👍

Fair play guys you done awsome job over last 2 years keep it up from garw Valley xx
Really enjoy watching this channel. 👍
Wow you two are amazing! Can’t wait to see the house finished!
Thanks Susie!
great job how exciting. Love watching you guys progress and learn. Cheers Gina in Upstate NY USA moving to Portugal
You can build a drying canopy using the same panels that are on the greenhouse. Can be a little taller than the washing machine house you just built. Leave a 1m gap around the sides at the bottom for air to go through.
On the most overcast, wettest days in December, a pair of jeans will be dry in 2 days. Sunny day and they are dry in 1.5 hours or less.
Use your tumble dryer for 10mins then to get the last bit of dampness out of them in winter if you need to.
I use this system in the Irish Midlands, with very similar weather to you.
It will free up the Anker for other things during construction.
Great project, I always look forward to the videos.
Great ideas Kevin, something to definitely look into, i have been hanging my wet weather gear in the greenhouse to a similar effect since we built it as i found my kit constantly wet was making it stink! We recently visited Ireland and loved it there.
@@CampOutWest You need to keep the sides very open. Learned this the hard way too!! 😁
Your skills are getting so good!
The Anker is a game changer.
Bliss! Washing and drying on your own land 😊
I swear by Anker products - robust and always reliable 👌🏻🏴🍺
We are so grateful! We have had issues with all the other generators we've been sent apart from Anker, they are the only ones still going strong 🎉
I love your new laundry room. 👍
A great time and money saving up grade and the rustic laundry room looks good too❤
Wow wow love the laundry room absolutely amazing guys 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👌👌
Fantastic job , you now have a laundry 🧺 room. Congratulations 🙌
Ahh I love watching your videos. It’s like a reset to my nervous system! I’d love to be off grid, and one day I will 😁
You are both so resourceful. Brilliant vlog.
Thanks Di 😃
Super idea to have your own laundry pod
Really brilliant to watch what you are both doing I would love to do exactly the same thing, look forward to the next video
It's definitely about being resourceful 👍🤗
Love the laundry room. Nothing like throwing in a load or two or laundry and not have to wait at the laundrette. And those are hard to find in a small village in Italy. The green house shelves will really come in handy. Love the progress. Looking forward to your next video. Ciao from Italy.
Nice, hope you get your 2 days in a row sunshine for the roof!
