I believe why Captain Marvel died from the statue falling on her was because Wanda took away her powers. It is very briefly shown, with Captain marvel's suit coming off. So it kind of implies that Captain marvel was a regular human when she got crushed. But yeah, its so weirdly shown that it still looks stupid to kill her that way.
@Singh I'm not saying it makes sense. But that's what it apparently was. Her suit was coming of. Maybe Wanda didn't absorb it, but altered reality where she wouldn't have powers like she did with Black Bolt. I did say, either way, the way they showed it was stupid.
Moreover Wanda’s main ability is the ability to *make people do what she wants* - because she has power from the mind stone. So she can mind manipulate Chavez - just like she did to WestView, just like she did even with Hulk in Age/Ultron. Heck made all the more silly by the fact that Dr. Strange got everything he wanted her from telling her to believe in herself. Wanda could ask for help and tell Chavez to believe in herself instead of trying to kill her.
The dumbest thing with Captain Marvel is that she *waited* for Richards to be killed. Then smiled. Then attacked. They all waited their turn for a one on one against someone who destroyed the Ultron’s like they were nothing.
I think Wanda just burning The Book of Vishanti was the strongest "Super Easy Barely an Inconvenience" moment. Like we literally spent half the movie looking for thing only for it to get destroyed in a second smh.
5:45 Yeah, this part bugged me. The fact that they all literally stood there for like 15 to 20 seconds waiting for Wanda to catch up with them, then for Strange to flood her with water saying that it should "buy them some more time..." Wanna know what else would've bought you all some more time? NOT STANDING THERE WAITING 15 TO 20 SECONDS FOR THE BAD GUY TO CATCH UP WITH YOU! 😡😤
9:08 exactly jaby I felt the same. It really didn't live up to it's title. Whereas Everything Everywhere All At Once really crushed the multiverse concept ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
The smile I got when achara said that this pitch meeting was really easy and barely and inconvenience Captain America voice: I understood that reference
The reason why she doesn't just train America to use her power, apparently, is because she needs her power in case her kids get sick or injured and she needed a convenient dimension travel power to access high tech medical worlds. Yep. That's what she said in the movie.
4:545:10 During Wanda's fight w/ Captain Marvel you can acc see Wanda absorbing her powers (Maria's mask starts disolving & Wanda hits her w/ a yellow energy blast), so it makes a lot of sense that Wanda weakened her enuff for the statue to kill her
My theory of her using the book in the first place is from that reshot scene in the WV finale where you can tell they cgi'd her face. she tells Monica "I don't understand this power but I will" I think they added the line to explain why she's looking at the book in the post credits. She wasn't initially looking for her kids, she was studying her own power then the book tricked her with the kids screams which began her decent into madeness. I hope they explain more.
@@ohio the error with your coment is the word "instantly", if you googled how many time is between the series and the movie, the corruption is nowhere near instantly
8:45 Same with Strange's third eye. At one moment he is screaming in the middle of the street with pain that a third eye has popped up on his head, his soul could be now forever connected to the souls of the dead. Next moment he is just walking down the street, having a conversaation with another sorcerer supreme and proudly shows his third eye to her that they have suddenly made peace. The whole "making a peace with thye third eye and knowing its consequences to have one" could be a funny 20 to 30 minute long script
It’s also another example of Marvel making character’s Mary Sue. So Wanda messes with dark magic: You evil and you dead, bye! But Strange does it and: I’m Super OP- wow cooool!
We don't even know how much time passes between those 2 scenes. Post Credit Scenes mostly have a time skip from the movie ending point. I hope this is the case.
3:19 Not really. Wong asks her this but she states that she needs America's powers so she'll have access cures if her boys get sick. And Defender Strange tries to take her powers at the start of the film because she's unable to control her powers so cooperating with America isn't really an option for Wanda.
5:13 bcz wanada took her power, you can see her raibow force getting lighter with her armor getting destroyed from her face, so maybe wanda neutralized her power then it makes sense that she could die with that big stone falling, and also she tries to active her rainbow with her hands to destroy the stone but she couldn't.
I am so dissapointed with the movie , Doctor Strange was nerfed so much in it that his main goal in the movie is to run from Wanda and to give a zombie speech about believing in yourself to America Chavez ( a character that has some of the worst sales of her comic books and her introduction game Marvel's Avengers was a flop ) . Fun fact the reshoots were made because they have seen in the first movie cut that America Chavez as character was being snarky and unappealing ( well guess what , it is the same in her comic books ) . Those cameo deaths were so disrespectful , I know it was a scripted fight and Wanda needed to win but not at the cost of Black Bolt being arrogant and stupid ( why scream if no mouth ) , Mr. Fantastic being an total idiot and getting Black Bolt killed and him spaghetti , also how can you tell me Professor X loses so easely , in the comic books he is way more powerful and quite helds it's own with omega mutants also , again I understand scripted fight , needed to win Wanda , but by nerfing the illuminati so much they were disrespectful to the cameos , and guess what , doesn't show the Scarlet Witch strong but them as weak and pathetic , I mean except for a flash of superpowers they weren't more then some goons , threat wise in this movie . Oh and how I like that they gloss over the repercussions , the life of Wanda 838 is tosted because of our Wanda . In the final act she destroys the Darkhold in every universe if it is to believe them , so how can Wanda 838 hope to defeat now the X-men , the inhumans , shield , Sue Storm , Namor , Franklin Richards and Doctor Doom as they will hunt her down , but no our Wanda was just upset , she was just into " I would not hurt anyone -starter pack " . In the end we got Scarlet Witch in the Multiverse of Madness aka WandaVision season 2 and America Chavez origins . The lucky variants Doctor Strange are Sinister Strange and Defender Strange , at least they will not see how our Doctor Strange will be just a sidekick in his own movies or like this one , just with his name on it .
I wish we got to learn what our earth 616 mordo was doing throughout this film. We'll learn next film but figured with how important mordo was in the first film that he'd be a recurring character.
Originally they were gonna have Wanda decapitate him during the film but opted to cut it out because either way she was gonna kill the illuminati to get across her power level.
Wanda's turn isn't all that surprising to me at least, when you take a book called "The Book of The Damned" from a evil witch and give it another witch who's been a little morally grey (on more than one occasion, don't forget ultron's movie), I don't see how anyone didn't see this coming a mile away and any agents of shield fans should know that too, since that book was featured heavily in that show.
she was never in a grey area, ultron convinced her that stark was evil and didnt care about people, a side from that she always thought that she was doing something right, until she met the avengers
You don't see how a series (probably the most popular Marvel Disney+ series) that spends it's entire story talking about how Wanda is doing something for selfish reasons that not only caused harm to alot of innocent people, but also ended up causing her more pain might have resulted in the character learning something? Agents of shield isn't even canon, but more importantly, having Wanda essentially learn nothing, completely invalidates the entirety of WandaVision and creates an immensely flimsy and generic evil villain out of a character that could have turned that way in a much more interesting way. Wanda's story was one of the most in-depth and interesting of the entire MCU so far and without ANY notice at all, she just goes full psycho and completely disregards what the one person she actually loved would think. No thoughts for her parents, her brother, or her husband/Boyfriend that were all actually real to her. The problem isn't the case of people not wanting Wanda to go full villain, but they basically just turned her into a generic, one note bad guy that completely disregards her character and reduces her to awful one liners in typical Raimi style (He is good at some things but sucks at actual depth, impact and emotion, especially in dialogue.)

All the discussions aside, was it a Dr Strange movie? And when ever I think about his impact only thing that comes to my mind that he told America to believe in herself. Super easy, barely an inconvenience....
I'll say this with the Captain Marvel death, because a lot of people seem to miss it. Watching it, you see that while she is fighting Wanda, the energy around her starts to fade away. One of Wanda's abilities is that she can actually take powers away. Just look at her famous "No More Mutants" moment, in the comics. So Captain Marvel died from being crushed, because her powers were gone. The dumb thing wasn't that she died and people thought she shouldn't. The dumb thing is that she died, because she didn't roll off to the side to avoid the statue.
I've watched every single sketch that Ryan George has put out, and now working my way through the reactions to his content and I love the CinePals reactions, very authentic! 😁 "Is the ocean a real thing" is a good one too if you're looking for ones to react to lol
I thought they would have made Wanda rescue her kids only to have them taken away from her again, by whatever means. And we actually get to see her transcend into madness, not because of a book or power, but because of the underlined hurt and pain she has to go through rescuing her kids only to lose them again. It'll be like her situation with vision. Also, I found it incredibly odd and unsatisfying that they didn't dive into how her Pietro in wandavision wasn't actually Pietro. Like, I know Agatha mentioned in Wandavision because she was clouded by grief she actually believed it was him, but I just wanted to have a story that actually took their time to plan out and execute a good villain orgin story. I feel so bad for the people who worked on Wanda vision so hard to thread the needle of making one that both dangerous and evil but also in a way that Redemption is possible and believable-she doesn't kill anybody, she make sacrifices to atone. And then they nuke it all with this movie
3:15 That's not right Wanda staying in other universe for long or the kids coming to our universe for a long time will create an incursion which will lead to a destruction
She can change Reed into a spaghetti but unable t do so against captain marvel and capt america shows how much they wanted to make female superhero look stronger than a man.
I don't know why no one noticed the subtle Captain Marvel kill. If you looked closely she was slowly zapping her of her power and then crushed her. Sure it was convenient and quick but it had context,it just wasn't spoken out loud to be super obvious.
Mordu may have seen the outcome with the Time Stone. That's why he stayed behind to so as to survive and reverse everything once Wanda left. I think it was planned. That's why they were so nonchalant about her. And why they didn't seem to react much to their comrades dying. Why would the sorcerer supreme stay behind and Captain Carter go out to fight? If Mordu has it and their Strange dealt with the Darkhold then they should know about the Scarlet Witch. Wong knew about her. As long as you don't cast spells from it it won't corrupt you. But you can read it without any side effects.
I find it surprising how disappointed ppl were that they didn't visit more universes in DS:MOM tbh. I personally didn't expect too much universe hopping bcos I thought it would be too messy if they did lol. The more universes they travel to, the fewer time they'd be able to spend in each one w/out dragging out the film, and the less likely we are to care about any of the new characters we meet.
You’re just assuming the AU Captain Marvel died just because she stopped moving under some debris though. There’s literally 0 reason to believe she died and wasn’t merely knocked out. (Pay attention: Wanda absorbed at least some of her power.)
What people dont seem to realize is, Wanda took CM powers away. That's why when they were fighting CM's mask was being destroyed and when she got blown away and fell used no powers at all. Also for Wanda's development this was a turn that was seen coming. WandaVision was Wanda letting go of Vision's death, not making peace that she couldnt live a normal life and what not. When she heard her kids in the end asking for help, she was looking to save them. The Darkhold twisted her way and perspective on the matter. She never found closure with her kids but with Vision, that's why she actively talks about him to Strange. Wanda conjures up the monsters from the Darkhold, that is 100% self explanatory. When she opens the Darkhold, shes literally on the page with the beasts. They never tell us how she dream walks but we know they gained that knowledge from the book. The ending with the believe in yourself is something that Marvel likes to do so I dont know why it's so bad in this moment. Multiverse of Madness doesnt mean that we will see many universes in the multiverse but more so madness in it. So we saw the incursion of a universe, we saw how different it is. I think people were expecting too much from the movie and it clouded their vision to what was actually there. Especially the stopping when being chased by Wanda scene was purely for a jumpscare but we can see that Strange thought it through but trapping Wanda briefly with the rivers water. I don't know I'm just confused to how people got confused on certain parts when it is self explanatory especially since in the video they reacted to they missed a lot of stuff. But hey, to each their own

Literally while watching the movie for the first time earlier, I thought to myself: "Okay...so she's erasing her entire character development, and not only willing, but DOES hurt and KILL whoever she can just to get what she wants, while simultaneously repeating throughout the movie that she's not a monster? She's a huge walking contradiction, and have set herself back to the very start of when we were first introduced to her and her brother. I don't like her anymore, and don't care what happens to her. Also I was really interested to hear Achara's pick for the "super easy, barely an inconvenience" moment so I'm glad she shared it. Also, could you react to the Pitch Meeting for the movie Moonfall? It was unexpectedly hilarious (the Pitch Meeting, not the movie, which I have never seen and would not recommend you do either).
Supposedly she drained Captain Marvel of power and that's why she was able to kill her. There is a part where her suit starts to get pulled off and that's Wanda taking her energy. There is a theory that Mordu used the Time Stone to see the outcome. He stayed behind so as not to get killed to just reverse everything once Wanda left. So they reason they weren't worried about Wanda is because they had already figured out how to deal with her. It makes a logical sense. Whey send out Captain Carter instead of the SORCERER SUPREME. She has to know there is nothing she can do to Wanda. What did Reed Richards think he was going to do to Wanda? Choke her out?
I've never heard that theory before but I acc like it a lot tbh, especially since it would make the Illuminati more compentent lol. It would also be a great way to stop 838 Wanda having to face consequences for killing the Iluminati (I know it wasn't her fault, but 838 Mordo doesn't seem particularly reasonable so I wouldn't be surprised if he blamed her).
I have a question that nobody's asking in any platform - How did America Chavez bring dead Strange's body (from the first scene) to show to our Strange? She couldn't control her powers to return back there and even if she could, she wouldn't risk it (the mummy monster could still be there). If anybody knows the answer, reply.
It doesn't undo her arc in Wanda vision. Her arc in Wanda vision is to get out of the fugue state her mind is in frm grief, but she has not processed that grief at all.
I feel like people praise Spiderverse and diss at DS2 even though miles had the same super easy moment of gaining your abilities as America Chavez, its like okay
@@vulamnguyen9453 yea sure I love spiderverse but just saying. I meant that for Miles to access his full potential he needed to believe in himself and the same goes for America As ds said she opened portals to wherever they needed to go at any point and she saved them whenever they needed it so her believing in her powers and being able to open portals at will shouldn’t be an issue then.
Well, I would normally agree with you about Captain Marvel’s death. Under normal circumstances, the statue would not even hurt her. But I watched a video that analyses the movie in slow motion, and it seems like Wanda was absorbing Captain Marvel’s powers. Which is ironic, because Captain Marvel can also absorb energy.
I don't know if I would say the movie undid the entire arc of the show, but I do remember thinking it didn't connect as well as it probably should have. I agree, I thought it was weird that she didn't go look for White vision at all considering the fact that the events of wandavision kinda happened because of him in a way. She coulda just turned him into a human and had the kids again, only real this time. But besides that, I thought it was in character for her to do something like this. And with how tempting and persuasive the darkhold was, it just made her worse.
You guys have realized that Wanda was also siphoning captain marvels shields so when it did fall on her she didn’t have any shield and she was a normal person😂
What I feel about Marvel movie is that they now can make anything and then tie to the multiverse that may help them introduce the new actor for same character. Dr strange 1 and Dr strange 2 is not connecting

Pls react to Eurovision 💙 I love Pitch Meetings but I disagree with what they said about Captain Marvel being crushed. Wanda absorbed her powers right before that. She wasn't able to protect herself.
Marvel (and DC) has often had a heavy emphasis on duality, contrasts and balance, all the way from plotlines to characters. I wonder if America Chavez has a long lost twin named "Canada Hitler". 🤔🤔🤔
Wanda sucked off captain marvel's power during the fight. That's how captain marvel die. You can see clearly see that in the movie as Captain Marvel helmet brokes apart. Also, in wandavision, wanda does have the ability to suck off Agatha's power if you remember.

@Singh May be she did something which disabled her power.
I think Wanda just burning The Book of Vishanti was the strongest "Super Easy Barely an Inconvenience" moment. Like we literally spent half the movie looking for thing only for it to get destroyed in a second smh.
Nah, the strongest of those moments was destroying the dark hold.
Just stab it, that'll do it.
"so the movie can happen" is applicable to all the movies in movie history!
5:45 Yeah, this part bugged me. The fact that they all literally stood there for like 15 to 20 seconds waiting for Wanda to catch up with them, then for Strange to flood her with water saying that it should "buy them some more time..."
Wanna know what else would've bought you all some more time? NOT STANDING THERE WAITING 15 TO 20 SECONDS FOR THE BAD GUY TO CATCH UP WITH YOU! 😡😤
She was absorbing captain Marvel energy. You can see her armor is coming off
9:08 exactly jaby I felt the same. It really didn't live up to it's title. Whereas Everything Everywhere All At Once really crushed the multiverse concept ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
The smile I got when achara said that this pitch meeting was really easy and barely and inconvenience
Captain America voice: I understood that reference
The reason why she doesn't just train America to use her power, apparently, is because she needs her power in case her kids get sick or injured and she needed a convenient dimension travel power to access high tech medical worlds. Yep.
That's what she said in the movie.
WANDA: I can do practically anything... except get good health coverage.
I always enjoy these pitch meetings reactions.
4:54 5:10 During Wanda's fight w/ Captain Marvel you can acc see Wanda absorbing her powers (Maria's mask starts disolving & Wanda hits her w/ a yellow energy blast), so it makes a lot of sense that Wanda weakened her enuff for the statue to kill her
Naah
And people think I am crazy because I didn’t like the movie. So happy pitch meeting pointed out all the flaws I couldn’t forgive
New subscriber 😂😂 I’m a huge fan of Pitch meeting. I love this
My theory of her using the book in the first place is from that reshot scene in the WV finale where you can tell they cgi'd her face. she tells Monica "I don't understand this power but I will" I think they added the line to explain why she's looking at the book in the post credits. She wasn't initially looking for her kids, she was studying her own power then the book tricked her with the kids screams which began her decent into madeness. I hope they explain more.
and while studying it, she got corrupted, and the darkhold show her the multiverse and convinced her to kill another wanda to have her life
Good point
Oh that makes sense
@@shauryadeshwal7368 true. we also that 3 weeks had passed since the magic spell on pizza poppa guy ended
At the end of WandaVision she hears her kids saying help. It's actually from the scene in MoM where Chavez shows her kids.
Hahaha was waiting for you guys to react to this video.... Your reactions are tight!
The fact that this wasn't originally supposed to be the original plot will never cease to anger me.
3:19 Not really. Wong asks her this but she states that she needs America's powers so she'll have access cures if her boys get sick. And Defender Strange tries to take her powers at the start of the film because she's unable to control her powers so cooperating with America isn't really an option for Wanda.
4:00 fantastic, sir😏
5:13 bcz wanada took her power, you can see her raibow force getting lighter with her armor getting destroyed from her face, so maybe wanda neutralized her power then it makes sense that she could die with that big stone falling, and also she tries to active her rainbow with her hands to destroy the stone but she couldn't.
Was waiting for this. Loved it
I am so dissapointed with the movie , Doctor Strange was nerfed so much in it that his main goal in the movie is to run from Wanda and to give a zombie speech about believing in yourself to America Chavez ( a character that has some of the worst sales of her comic books and her introduction game Marvel's Avengers was a flop ) .
@@tehtayziez true but ur wrong on the children part. Just because she didn't birth them doesn't mean they didn't exist. I think you do not know how her powers work, it wasn't an illusion, the children were real , she formed a reality where she has children.
A little morally grey? Enslaving a town for your imaginary family isn't grey at all...Thor has lost waaaay more than her and doesn't go "grey"& Bucky probably has more trauma than anyone
@@tehtayziez the fuck are you talkiing about??? she had the darkhold for who knows how many months, and we just see the results, use your brain to understand that it was months, even strange just said what the darkhold does
Always thought Ryan George looked like John Krasinksi in his profile picture, so I was glad for that reference :P
When they had the music fight the notes should have been “the Rhythm is gonna get you” 😂
I haven't watch this video yet but I guess where chavez controls her powers would be barely an inconvenience moment
I love it when he says hey shut up
I'm so glad he called out the part when Wanda just stopped using her reality bending powers after taking out Black Bolt & Mr. Fantastic. The remaining fight vs. Captain Marvel & Captain Carter felt so fake and forced since we knew Wanda could end them anytime she wanted to.
All the discussions aside, was it a Dr Strange movie? And when ever I think about his impact only thing that comes to my mind that he told America to believe in herself. Super easy, barely an inconvenience....
0:58 I died laughing 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
But you know that super easy Moment was a wholesome moment and reflecting the character of doctor strange that he is believing her powers
I’ve seen the first Doctor Strange movie countless times, it’s great. I’ve only seen this one once, and I have no desire to watch it again.
The pitch meeting missed the part of how Xavier died.
The guy who can’t walk getting his neck snapped was so savage
@@Pack-Man199 Ok I missed that part. It went by so quickly.
@@biguy617 I don’t even remember it in the pitch meeting video lol. I was just remarking on the way he died
It's best not to talk about it
I liked Achara's brief impersonation of Jaby.
I'm using the super easy, barely an inconvenience in my daily life now. It's tight.
3:15
That's not right
Wanda staying in other universe for long or the kids coming to our universe for a long time will create an incursion which will lead to a destruction
She can change Reed into a spaghetti but unable t do so against captain marvel and capt america shows how much they wanted to make female superhero look stronger than a man.
The Captain Marvel thing...it seemed obvious (to me at least) that Wanda had siphoned out Marias' powers...so yeah, statue smush
This pitch meeting was funny but I still love this movie.
If you are a marvel fan, then you know what the Darkhold does to "people" lol
2:36 Yes it is lol
I don't know why no one noticed the subtle Captain Marvel kill. If you looked closely she was slowly zapping her of her power and then crushed her. Sure it was convenient and quick but it had context,it just wasn't spoken out loud to be super obvious.
The ilumanati has never encountered the scarlet witch, they underestimated her power
Yeah.... The illuminati had the intelligence of room temperature in that universe
Pitch meetings are tight
Funny that from new M-She-U I like America the most.
The evil strange is from What If if you never saw that xD
I find it surprising how disappointed ppl were that they didn't visit more universes in DS:MOM tbh.
I personally didn't expect too much universe hopping bcos I thought it would be too messy if they did lol.
The more universes they travel to, the fewer time they'd be able to spend in each one w/out dragging out the film, and the less likely we are to care about any of the new characters we meet.
everything everywhere all at once is the true multiverse movie of 2022
She drained Captain Marvel’s powers before that statue fell on her If I remember, no?
This is great!
You’re just assuming the AU Captain Marvel died just because she stopped moving under some debris though. There’s literally 0 reason to believe she died and wasn’t merely knocked out. (Pay attention: Wanda absorbed at least some of her power.)
I am not sure why everyone assumes Captain marvel variant died because of that statue fallen, she could've just been knocked out.
I think she did died. Wanda sucked off her power before the statue fall.
But hey, to each their own
Captain marvel's powers were drained by Wanda before she was crushed by the statue
these pitch meetings are slaps for me to escape from the fantasy.
I felt like we went more places in both guardians of the galaxy movies
I'm wishing there is HISHE DOCTOR STRANGE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS soon!
There were a ton of plot holes, and I didn’t like the final season Game of Thrones Daenerys treatment Wanda received from the writer and director.
However, the major disappointment to me in the movie was not only the way they portrayed Wanda, it was the nod to hørrør genre. This is a superhero multiverse, not a hørrør multiverse, if they want to do that, go do an Evíl Dead multiverse movie (but don’t mix it up here in this Marvel superhero verse).
Also, the writer and director already admitted they filmed many scenes giving a nod to the hørrør franchises and movies. The distorted mirror entrance, the creepy style of the camera work, the slow Carrie style walk with a similar bløødy head and face, the eyeball ripped out of the monster’s head… Instead of me breaking down every reference to a hørrør flick they did a breakdown of it. If you liked it watch the breakdown videos, I’m not telling you not to but I didn’t. Just like I didn’t like evíl Superboy in Brightburn.
he did 2 super easy barely an inconvenience in one video one time lol
I thought it seemed like Wanda started absorbing Captain Marvel's power and maybe thats why she died being squished by the statues....
Lol"
There's so much more he could do with any of these. He's barely scratching the surface of the problems. Anything from Phase Four could provide a 45 minute Pitch Meeting easy.
The bee which America sees, is it the same bee which was stepped on by Amber Heard's dog
Fantastic video! I always always always love seeing your Pitch Meeting reactions, please keep them coming!
When you think aboutit this pitch meeting is basically a plot hole video
But char dev in Spiderverse way way better
@@vulamnguyen9453 yea sure I love spiderverse but just saying.
I meant that for Miles to access his full potential he needed to believe in himself and the same goes for America
As ds said she opened portals to wherever they needed to go at any point and she saved them whenever they needed it so her believing in her powers and being able to open portals at will shouldn’t be an issue then.
Wandavision season 2 multiverse of madness had the worst writing in MCU
Well, I would normally agree with you about Captain Marvel’s death.
Under normal circumstances, the statue would not even hurt her.
But I watched a video that analyses the movie in slow motion, and it seems like Wanda was absorbing Captain Marvel’s powers.
Which is ironic, because Captain Marvel can also absorb energy.
Wanda absorbed all of Captain Marvel's tesseract energy with that beam lock, that's why she died.
There's a point right before Captain marvel dies you can see Wanda absorbing her power, the power she stole from Agatha in WandaVision and that's SUPPOSEDLY how she was able to kill her..
I suggest that we consider Maria Rambeau's CM weaker than Carol Danver's CM and I think the latter would've lasted longer in front of SW
Pls react to Eurovision 💙
I love Pitch Meetings but I disagree with what they said about Captain Marvel being crushed.
Cut 40 minutes out of final cut probably would have been more multiverses shown at least more character development of America Chavez
5:00
You guys are completely wrong
Wanda is a reality warper
& That's how she changed captain Marvel & normalised her into a human & killed
She can literally change matter
That's how she killed blackbolt & Mr Fantastic
Also in comics she changed the reality by erasing all mutants by just 3 words
Rarely anyone reads comics this days.
Wanda took all of the CM's power before dropping the statue, that's why. ......
Could've just killed her in a more gruesome way but no let's just confuse the people.
Parts of this movie were left on the cutting room floor. It's obvious. Wonder what we are missing.
EPISODE 8 of WHAT IF is far superior by just how much multiverse it showed along with the details while a flight scene is happening with epic visuals.
If you watch captain marvel part again, Wanda repressed captain marvel's powers right before the statue dropped.
There were a lot of multiverses visited in MoM you guys either didn't notice or just didn't appreciate it
The rotation of Wanda & Maria was like two black holes colliding the huge blast of such a collision was that blast before she’s killed by the statue, she’s human like us after that! anyway you’re right Jaby just they should have not shown her die from the debris, might have been too gruesome to show her body everywhere I think from that de power Big Bang fatality
