It doesn't matter whether you play an instrument or not, my friend. What matters is that you dig music and are interested in how to play it. Run with that. Pick up a guitar or keyboard. You have a musician's heart. Give yourself the greatest gift of all. Put your hands on an instrument and let your heart sing. It's the most joyful thing you can ever do.

LOVE this new channel! Been playing music for 33 years (guitar since 13, bass since 19) and been in the same band for 20 years.I recently got my oldest guitar back up and running. An old Lotus Strat copy, but it sounds vintage...and looks it too...paint chipping off, chunks of wood missing, but it sounds the best of all my guitars. I subbed to this channel the instant i heard of it...keep up the good work!

When you're up in the A position (7th fret), & sliding? If the open E string's allowed to ring? Adds a real nice, wide, airy sound. It's not strictly Bluesy, but if there was such a thing as "Surf Blues?" (Sorry, Eric - I'm an old hippy! 🤣) ...Btw, these are sorta abbreviated 6th chords or handy, easy-to-slide fragments. Thanks for letting me jump in. I just subscribed!

Not sure this is a lesson on triads as much as it is about playing style. If this is a triad lesson, why not start with what a triad is and how you turn a major triad into a so called blues triad. Technically, for your little mind, that is part of a C-minor chord form. As a triad it is a first inversion minor triad. As a first inversion minor triad it is a 351 with the 3 lowered to a b3. That's what gives it the minor voice...

Cool! Been watching IV8888 with a guitar in my hands and was like "Wow. They're shooting guitars up. Cool! WOW! They got a guitar channel!"
Awesome! I've actually always been sort a heavy metal kind of guy and played that for some time back in the days but now I suddenly got a taste for country music and blues and turned out I can play very little of that cuz it's a whole different world for me. So I apreciate those hints and licks. Alot of that stuff you can't really fully grasp untill someone actually explains it to you. Like you hear notes playing and you know where to play them but the mood isn't on untill someone explains to you all the nits an picks of how exactly that should be done to sound properly. Funny how I try playing blues and country licks on my neckthru ESP Horizon, floyd rose and all =)
