- Kemi Badenoch has accused a Labour MP of being a “liar” during a fiery clash that erupted over language used to describe transgender children.
MsBadenoch, equalities minister, was warned about the use of “unparliamentary language” after she blasted Kate Osborne MP for allegedly lying.
During an appearance at the Women and Equalities Select Committee on Wednesday, the Cabinet minister took aim at Ms Osborne who accused her of previously using “inflammatory language that likens children and young people coming out as trans to the spread of a disease”.

Kemi's original statement that there's "almost an epidemic of young gay children being told that they are trans" shows she was pointing out the recent social trend of irresponsible adults telling children they are "born in the wrong body". Kate Osborne MP totally misrepresented this and got called out!
However that statement does liken the increase to a spread of a disease

I watched Kemi's statements in Parliament and she did not use the word disease, Kate Osbourne should remember when you are in this position that failure to prepare is to prepare to fail, and that is exactly what she did.

The word 'disease' does not mean exactly the same as 'epidemic' they are not entirely consistent with one another and NOT interchangeable in their use. Epidemic can mean widespread in the sense that anything at all can be widespread, that meaning may not include the widespread of a disease and that should be known by the ignorance of Kate Osborne and her poor accusation. I agree with Badenoch in the sense that she may consider the spread of the Trans ideology and its terrible fall out on society may be an "epidemic". What is wrong with that? Osborne is ignorant!

Without having to respect parliamentary language protocols, it’s fair to say the Labour MP actually is a liar, and at worst twisted Kemi’s words to suit her narrative. As long as politicians think this is what the public want from their MPs , we will never be represented fairly in parliament. The poorly masked hatred of the Conservative Party members by the opposition is the very problem with our current 2 party politics system. There does not need to be hate, it has no place in any public office. No matter how well or how poorly as in this case you try and disguise it.
