10 year old gets sent out on journey, immediately eats unknown mushrooms, gets sick, then gets seperated from his new Starter pokemon and gets lost.
Yeah, the crash is frequent. The game is SUPER fun, but because you can't save while traveling, you can lose entire minute chunks of progress due to it. It took me three tries to actually finish the journey to the first town after getting your starter. To anyone who wants to play this, I recommend extremely frequent saves - save right before you're ready to leave the town, so that way, if it crashes you can hop right back to it.

Having trouble getting it working. All it does is infinitely re-download the same file. What do I do?

@@notthisyourlight i did multiple times, it crashes if your character gets a cold, and no the item that is supposed to protect you from rain doesn’t do a thing

Come on, the game isn’t playing fair. You can’t get a bad status _every_ time you forage.
Considering there is a foraging handbook and a charcoal filter you can buy to reduce the chances of getting sick from foraging, I think that making foraging really risky is the right move.
