And I had planned on mostly using the sword, despite my build, lol! The beach threw so much at me that at the time I felt I had to be purely reactive. Between the mobs, and an average of 1 stutter every 20 seconds I found myself more often in 'flight' mode, but we got through it!

All those trees falling are just ringing the dinner bell for everyone in the Ashlands. What no Fallen Valkyrie showing up to the party. Lol

Add 8 serpents and minus one morgen, that was my first arrival in Ashlands. I, of course, died by the time I could say "what in god's armpit is this?!" What a pro

You know I love your thumbnails but this has to be my FAVORITE yet. It popped up on my feed and I laughed so loud, I had to (try to) explain myself to other people. It was interesting. (And then I turned off my phone haha)
This is INSANE! I have never said Oh my God and WOW so many times in 9 minutes lol. It makes your swamp vod look like a peaceful walk in the park.

Haha, for the record I've I done six or seven beach landings if you include ashlands-->ashlands and is was by farrrrrr the craziest. First fix was quieting noise that shouldn't exist but here the squad took down a whole forest so it makes sense that it brought all the boys to the yard; second fix just axed some spawns by dvergr buildings, which we didn't have here. Also I ran around a lot, including inches from a spawner, second morgen never wakes up if I don't cover so much ground. If I'm after minimal badguys I should either hold the beach without taking the world tour or I should just GTFO

What a welcoming committee! I assume this is on normal? Either way complete insanity, 2x morgen is wild. Great awareness of all enemies and prioritizing bubble glide above all.
Yeah, default. Kinda feel like I over-prioritized bubbles when I had bonemass active but with the sheer quantity I did just wanna stay alive lol
Personally I would've ran eikthyr and used bubble as the major protective source here, but that's just me. Nice tunes btw@@ThreadMenace

Just backwatched some vids, this is what I was expecting going in. What I got instead was a rather complete building by the shore for shelter/portal/shieldgen, and 0 mobs in sight haha
It's much more like an out of control Left 4 Dead type of experience this biome. Respawn rate needs to be redesigned.

Haha this wasn't exactly an organic playthrough where I was trying to be optimal. I loaded up a pre-ash save and rolled up with the express intent of testing a couple particular things but then all hell broke loose 🤣

If you don’t get down to 5 health in ashlands you’re doing it wrong

What are your thoughts on crossbow vs. regular bow in ashlands boss or regular roaming?
Probably depends a lot on the characters bow skill level. I've been roaming crossbow and, for me, I prefer that but if you're bow skill 40 or higher rolling in with spinesnap is prolly best. I've really been enjoying subtracting archers from the equation with one shot and putting huge sneak hits on doggos from a million miles away and luring them away from the pack 1 by 1.
I feel like against the boss ideally you very much use neither. You're either doing magic or refilling your stam from a melee onslaught.
In two years, people will stumble upon this video and accuse you of having spawned all those enemies in. I wish there was a way to conserve the madness that was PTB Ashlands pre-patch.

Kinda don't think I'll be uploading. Might dabble with pve on my own but wouldn't wanna go hard without a squad and whether I upload squad stuff would greatly depend on the vibe. Most folks appreciate my calm demeanor when it's hitting the fan but with a bunch of people in comms it often doesn't stay super chill. Don't know that pve warrants publishing, I dunno. I'm also not very good haha
@@ThreadMenace Just my 2 cents for what it's worth. :P I may be in the minority but I would LOVE to see you post content from V Rising PVP and/or PVE. I love PVP - it was one of my favorite parts of WoW when I played. I’ve been watching some V Rising gameplay (it's still on my WL). While I love your chill vibe, it would be out of place in PVP for sure which definitely isn't a bad thing. PVE in this game actually seems pretty standard for survival games (I haven't seen end game yet), but not sure about your friends if you played with others, only you know that. :) I don’t know how it would affect your channel which you do have to consider but I, for one, would love to tune in whether it’s here or somewhere else.
