Had this freezer over 7 yrs. defrosted and not working. tried fastfreeze but still not working. is it time to go to freezer heaven or can we try to fix it. Amazing video. Freezer has been amazing , totally recommend. x
There are videos on RUclips on the subject but the most common reasons are the coils are dirty or the evaporator is frozen.

Great video, you cover all the details as usual! Are these common in the UK as a secondary freezer? Do most householdS have a fridge/freezer combo like in the US in the kitchen?
These tall freezers are normally in garages, they are not normally in kitchens due to the size. Most people would have a fridge freezer combination in the kitchen.

How long does the Blomberg freezer need to stand, when first delivered, before switching it on? Very helpful walk through video BTW.
If it's kept upright while being transported then normally about 3-4 hours is OK but ideally about 8 hours if it was lying down
can I buy another small tray to replace the ice cube bit?
Love this freezer. Have had it 4 months and now the interior light stays on or I have an alarm ringing all the time. There is nothing stopping the door from closing. Any clues?
The only thing I would do is to give the door seal a wipe round with a warm cloth to make sure the door is sealing properly when shut. Apart from that it will be a case of contacting Blomberg for an engineer to come out to have a look at it for you. Good luck.
Hello i cleaned the freezer once and i have two parts that i dont know how to put them back in. Can you plz help. They are two oval plastics with one flat side and another side with a small additional plastic on it. I think its from the ice maker drawer. Please advise.
They are more than likely designed to fit on the back of the freezer, to stop it being pushed back too far to the wall.
Very good video. But I have just had one of these delivered and plugged it in and it immediately said -18 which it clearly wasn’t we had just unpacked it! I have now transferred everything from my old freezer into the new Blomberg and put fast freeze on but how do I know when it is actually -18 inside?
I have a problem with the freezer , a red lighting triangle appears on the display with exclamation sign . What does this mean.
This is a warning that the temperature is too high in the freezer. Check that the door is shut properly, if it is then there may be an issue with it.
Please is someone know why my temperature flashing with unreasonable numbers.. something like 58 or other... other light flashing too
It wouldn't normally flash on the display. Is it still under the 3 year warranty, if it is i would contact Blomberg to see what the fault is.
I’d love to see a video with a bad appliance, be it a vacuum or fridge, just to compare with features that proved ineffective or were made better. Just an idea since you’ll eventually run out of those “one of the best selling” appliances.

Normally switching off at the mains and leaving for a minute then plugging back in should be ok to reset it.
I got error code dashes and no buttons works
I've had a look in the instructions and couldn't see what it could be so may be worth giving Blomberg a ring to get an engineer out to get it sorted..
