I began watching "Sesame Street" and and its spin-off series featuring Elmo, "Elmo's World," on PBS Kids back in 1999, alongside "Teletubbies" and "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood." I have some footage of it recorded onto some of my VHS tapes that mostly include footage of "Teletubbies." I have lots of fond memories of "Sesame Street." I have a couple official Sesame Street home videos: "Elmo's World: Babies, Dogs & More!" and "Sesame Street: Computer Caper." My favorite Elmo's World episode is "Computers" since it was one of the things that made me get into computers back in 1999, so in that year, my dad recorded it onto one of my aforementioned VHS tapes, and I've been using various PCs ever since, making me a computer whiz and veteran. Speaking of computers, I've also had some Sesame Street PC games like "Elmo's Preschool," "Let's Make a Word!" "Music Maker," "The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland," and "Elmo's World." They were all fantastic! Additionally, I even used to play the Nintendo 64 version of a console-exclusive Sesame Street video game called "Elmo's Number Journey" at a local McDonald's PlayPlace. It became one of my favorite classic arcade video games, alongside non-Sesame Street games like "Tigger's Honey Hunt" for the N64 (at the same McDonald's restaurant), "18 Wheeler: American Pro Trucker" and "Daytona USA 2" (which I used to play at Chuck E. Cheese's) and "Harley-Davidson & L.A. Riders" (which I used to play at a local Wal-Mart store back in the early 2000s). Even back then, I never had a Nintendo 64 nor N64 games at home, but played Virtual Console versions of other N64 games on my Nintendo Wii Family Edition back in 2013 and 2014 like "Super Mario Bros. 3" (my dad used to have the original NES version of it along with the Nintendo Entertainment System back in 1992). But since the Wii Shop Channel's servers shut down in January of last year, I will have to consider purchasing a Nintendo 64 and actual N64 games, including the ones previously mentioned in this paragraph. I've had the PlayStation 1 version of "Elmo's Number Journey" since January 2017 when I bought it at a local retro game store, and I've also had its alphabet-learning counterpart, "Elmo's Letter Adventure," for the same platform since early November 2019 when I purchased it on eBay in late October 2019. When my mom and I were on vacation in Rochester, NY back in April 2015, I was at the "Can You Tell Me How to Get to Sesame Street?" exhibit at The Strong National Museum of Play with one of my aunts. She and I had a wonderful time together there, exploring the same exhibit, and I even sat on the stoop of the famous 123 Sesame Street building. It was amazing fun! I will look forward to visiting it again sometime in the future, but next time, my dad and I will be there. "Sesame Street" is one of my favorite classic kids' TV shows! Elmo, Big Bird, Grover, Cookie Monster, Oscar the Grouch, Rosita, Zoey, Ernie, and Bert are some of its characters I will always remember. Same with the TV show itself as it is fantastic!
Awesome review, I love this show a lot, Sesame Street was a huge part of my childhood, I think it’s a wonderful show and a perfect example of how an educational children’s show should be done
I like Sesame Street and I will never hate it by the way in Latin America (excluding Brazil) we call it plaza sesamo but in European Spanish we call it barrio sesamo
I personally still love Sesame Street to this day since it’s a kids show that treats it’s audience with respect unlike a certain annoying purple dinosaur

4:23 Elmo is not just one of the best characters but he's also a MERCHANDISE KING!!! (ex: toys, clothes, CD's, DVD's...)
Childhood show and I watched as little. Ashlinn the Sesame Street and CEC Fan Media and King Julien Fanatic 2001 (aka Rachel Pursley) loves that show.
Sesame Street is a good show for toddlers with some clever humor for older audiences in my opinion
I still love Sesame Street so much!
My favorite pbs kids show ever.
I remember washing that show when I was younger all the time a long time ago and I even remember I used to have two VHS tape and books
Childhood Show! But I respect your Opinion on the new ones.
I like Sesame Street and I will never hate it by the way in Latin America (excluding Brazil) we call it plaza sesamo but in European Spanish we call it barrio sesamo
There's also The Furchester Hotel from 2014.
I know this show is for little kids, but there's something about it that makes it so hard for me to hate. Guess that's the charm of Jim Henson
I personally still love Sesame Street to this day since it’s a kids show that treats it’s audience with respect unlike a certain annoying purple dinosaur
Perhaps it's the really respectful way they address grown-up issues
