This is Fiona’s (Leni’s friend) debut, as she is rewatching her childhood show on Max, Sesame Street. Fiona gave me an idea for making a review on the longest running pre-school show that was made by Sesame Workshop.

Oh my god, I’m crying right now. I loved this show forever!!!!! I want to go back and watch it over and over!!!! My favorite character is Julia, Abby, Rosita, Elmo, and of course, praie dawn( don’t know if I got her name right), also, good job on the recreating the pbs sponsor stuff at the end, I love it!! .

But still brings me memories, just seeing this makes me want to watch the show again….

That show was my childhood, and it was very good, and nice that you made your own funding for Sesame Street for PBS Kids, but I can’t believe the changed the PBs Kids logo i prefer the original one with dash on it since he is cool along with Dot

The main problem with modern Sesame Street is that there's a fake shine and gloss to it. A lot of it has become lazy green screen backdrops which is diametrically opposed to the original purpose of Sesame Street. In the early seasons, Sesame Street felt like a quirky, dirty, and diverse New York City Street. It was meant to highlight the beauty and community found in places that were once overlooked in media. Now, Sesame Street is a sparkling street more reminiscent of some Hallmark movie devoid of dirt, grime, or anything real and authentic. The move to HBO also reduced the normal hour long format to just 20 minutes. While I haven't watched that many full episodes of the show, (I can't remember, but probably at least 7 in total) I mostly remember watching some of its direct to videos with "Get up and Dance" being my major childhood of that franchise. But I have seen clips of the old school episodes (including the banned episode where the Wicked Witch of the West invades the street). A lot of my favorite skits are the ones with Ernie and Bert since they're both funny to me! And now, the move to HBO has just been disastrous for a lot of these moments removed. Now, don't get me wrong. It's still a fine show for kids to watch, but not for a grown man like me. I'm not the only one who thinks this. In the words of Frank Oz, "Sesame Street is only a shadow of what it was...They're just aiming it to little kids. And I'm unhappy about that". Now before you ask, I do not think Elmo ruined the show. While I don't like him, the main downfall of the show was because of the lack of governmental funding

you know something makai, i used to like sesame street when i was little too. it's part of my childhood as well.
my favorite characters are, elmo, cookie monster, and big bird. as for elmo, he may get upset with his friends sometimes, but he is also kind as well. and for cookie monster, he likes to eat cookies as much as i do. and lastly, for Big Bird, he is friendly, kind, and also had a best friend called snuffy.

Dot and Dash (1999) were my major childhood and I have a strong dislike to their 2013 sleeves, not to mention that I don't think that 2013 Dot is the same as 1999 Dot due to being taken place in an alternate universe and also having different siblings and parents. Look, i know that it was part of your childhood. But, i say that i used to like that show back the. When i was a baby, and a little kid. But now, since i turned 22. I'm starting to hate this show. It's because i was getting too older for this show. And this show became way too childish for me.
