- Buckingham Palace has announced that, despite his cancer treatment, The King will be well enough to go to France next month for ceremonies marking the 80th anniversary of D-Day. Historian and Broadcaster Rafe Heydel-Mankoo explains the significance of D-Day, 6 June 1944, and explains why The King's attendance is so important.
Always enjoy Rafe's appearance!
Rafe always giving a clear and interesting reply to any question asked of him.
Rafe is the perfect gent to deliver this wonderful news on King Charles. So bright and always explains all matters.
I❤Rafe. He is so super gorgeous handsome.
That is great news for such an important anniversary.
Interesting that there are reports that no Union jacks are included in the sea of flags (bunting) in towns
No union flags? Then don't bother

Saxon ‘berg’ check it out folks
Berg is a German and Scandinavian name too. I know what you’re unsubtly trying to get at here.
If there had been two or three MALE officers instead if one being a woman, they might have been able to subdue him more safely and easily...female cops put people at greater risk.
Still doesn't seem right to call Camilla the queen. I still prefer Queen Consort.
We all miss QE2 🩷 ...but gotta move with the times
Where's Kate ?????
At home resting as everyone but you knows😊
Oh it's a Karen 😅
I think everyone is waiting to hear the immortal words ; the king is dead, long live the king.
The ‘berg’ is dead long live the ‘ berg’
Actually, I've surprisingly warmed up to KC. He just exudes warmth and charm in his later years and I admire his fortitude in the face of adversity.
The time isn't right yet for the next king. I'm glad William and Catherine have some time yet for recovery and privacy.
Pretty sure this guy is nicolas alaverdy
