    🌸For the shrug to fit.🌸 Fold a bath towel in half. Safety pin 🧷each corner edge. put your arms through the openings and flip it over your head. measure from elbow to elbow and make a chain.

    First I would like to say this looks fabulous, but question...after you crochet up to the sleeves it pretty much all closed off so how exactly to you put it on?

    Make a chain that you can wrap around your breasts/chest. I wear a size 2x. I did 85 chains with a P hook and bulky yarn.

    How long did it actually take for you to finish making this....how. do you deal with your arms getting tired? I'm just learning to crochet and this is the project I'm currently working on but my arms hurt like hell.

      Dear Simply, this is because of the bulky yarn. For your first projects I would recommend to crochet a smaller project and to use a yarn for a 4-6mm crochet hook. Regards, Julia

      I wondered about how many stitches to start with,there is a pattern on Lion brand yarn which calls for about 97 & the same one is on Gathering Beauty & I believe she used 120 ,I am about 152 lbs 5'1' so unsure what amount of stitches .Did you just crochet a chain & measure yourself with that?
