Thanks for the informative video(s) on the Goldwing. I still think it's a good idea to take the radiator off on bikes like this that sat for a long time, first it makes it easier to access the chamber and replace the belts, but also gives you a chance to flush the radiator and the cooling system. That's what I'm currently doing on my '85 Goldwing.
Be sure to take apart and check your three wire stator connector. My advice is to remove the connector and solder and shrink tube the wires. If it has not failed yet, it will.... Cheers!
Yeah I saw that in one of your other videos, and it had me thinking to do it. So far it works well and chargers, but it might be better to be safe than sorry. Thanks! UPDATE: Somebody saved me the trouble: it has already been hardwired...
That’s why I pull radiator out, can do so much more and have better access to one of the most important parts on this engine. But good luck.

@@GlennsSpeedShop Mine is perfectly fine. The Connection was coated with dielectric grease that kept out the offgassing of the battery. :)
old goldwing boxer motors are one of those engine that can be worked on in the frame to a point!
Wish we could see what your doing timing belt getting old.
Take the radiator out..then it's no problem to get the timing covers off...
Impossible to tell what's happening in about the last 1/3 of the video with the camera pointed at the timing belt.
yeep appears no editing huh!
We saw exactly Jack shit .
Get a damn tripod for god sake
He has one, but knows we prefer the vc gorilla style of filming.
