I've done this and it still won't stop pulling
How do you turn off automatic software updates?, when I go into the menu per some online directions, that option is not there for me
Thanks-in the included manual for my 2019 X-5 it refers to a button on the steering wheel-WHICH THIS CAR DOES NOT HAVE!

Yep same here. This feature is unbelievable and dangerous, the fact that even if the disable works you keep having to set it again every time you get in the car is mind blowing. Hard no on modern BMW for this single reason alone.
@@BrianCooperGplus In an Audi you only have to push one button not 3 (4)....So my next car def. will be an Audi, because you only have to push 2 buttons before enjoying the freedom of driving (disable steering intervention + stat stop automatic)

I only have 3 options on steering wheel vibration : strong, medium and light, shouldn't be an off option aswell?

Why does mine still stay on while I’m going over 50 mph ?
Mine still activates with that setting off for some reason
It only works when in the individual driving mode, its so dumb

HOW TO TURN OFF VIBRATION
Hi, on the front dash of my 2020 BMW X5, I see the street my vehicle is currently on. That indicates the GPS is running behind the scenes , even though I am not running navigation. How can I turn the GPS off completely.
You cannot turn the GPS off. It is just showing your current location, you can however turn the map display in the instrument cluster off.
To do this you would need to go to the Home Screen on the idrive control display (click the home button located in front of the idrive controller) click car -> settings -> displays -> instrument panel -> center display area -> and turn map view off ◡̈
In this crazy world there are some VPs somewhere, who think we could want a computer chip to steer or brake our car. It's mind blowing. Abysmal stupidity.
