- Amazing show. Stick around to the last song in their set (or skip there first what do I care lol): for sure. Encore is forthcoming. These guys are so nice; Leo was happy I sent him an email to check out Big Blitz, and I couldn’t stop thanking him after for doing so. Check out the progression of the first song Leo plays on tenor compared to when he played it at the Beachland in January. Really love its evolution.
The fact that 3 people can meet in NY and come together and then totally dominate their space and CREATE A NEW GENRE is so amazing to me. These guys are as close to gods as you get...
Yea! That true !!! 😁😁😁😁
Э
They are gods...
SUBWAY GAWDZ.
@retro mancer true. Brasshouse is the specific name of their genre
@retro mancer I respectively disagree.
Haven't been this excited since I heard Jimi Hendrix in 4th grade. These guys have changed the face of jazz.
Jazz?😭
@@AngelRamirez-ep8dw I would say "Brasshouse"--as they define it in their Ted Talk definitely counts as a form of jazz, at least.
Lol
I can testify that Too Many Zooz is a band that must be seen Live! Much love and respect to Leo, Matt, and David. So happy they are getting the recognition they deserve! #brasshouse
my wife didn't appreciate them until they were live in front of us - HOLY SHIT. Got a chance to chit-chat with the whole crew and they were all cool.
Some day I might get to see them live. They have come as far as the uk.

The Percussionist always brings the A game!
That homie is well into his 50’s. His spine must be made by nasa
King of Sludge!
@@joelfrancis5391 I asked him after a show if that hurt his back and he swore it didn't lol. I asked like twice because I couldn't believe him lol.
@@gangofgreenhorns2672 I remember once I saw them in concert and in between songs Sludge would tell some stories. Great guy! So funny and cares so deeply about making kickass music
@@emo6577 He legit looks like he's breathing to the beat yeah? I really like watching these guys play.
Leo and the Zooz make me very happy.
Love the that Rockin from his Dad.
When he was in the subway the sax 🎷 and drummer were killing it. I like his look he had like a punk rocker and he’d loose his sh1t! That act they had and his dance moves were phenomenal.
Fucking awesome. Wish they recorded more full sets.
I just got a new job so I should be able to hit some more of their shows. Going to see Moon Hooch Nov 22nd. Will definitely record.
I started from Croatia and these guys are so unique and persistent to me in their work that normally leads to what they were doing at the time and now not to comment on their playfulness. They're just great to anyone who loves music and they're really kicking it ass and I'm glad for them from the bottom of my heart because they started out as kids and today they're masters. I particularly like this video because it has a scale higher. Their parents and family can only be proud of them because these are many surreal super👍🏻
I was here and lost my marbles lol
Leo and his dad are so lucky to have that moment to share together on stage.
The best performance I have ever seen!
Check them out in South Africa. I keep listenint to that one. And 49:00, best sax solo EVER: ruclips.net/video/ygcGAyb7n48/видео.html
Love the energy the father brings on stage. This is one of the best performances on YT.
Do you mean Leo, Matt, or The King of Sludge? Just joking, we know you're talking about Leo, but they all have incredible energy. Leo P. has used enough hair dye that I don't think his swimmers are viable any longer.
@@carveroutdoors He's talking about Leo's father at 1:07:00
When the imposter is sus 15:02
@@dOoMnX just seeing this now, indeed referring to Leo's father
Anyone who has ever been in marching band had better respect that percussionist. Good God! The physicality alone is admirable, but the jams are other worldly.
absolute kings for including the We Are Number One theme
Okay thanks for confirming I thought I was losing it XD
Omg I wish I could have been there,Jumping jack flash at the end was like the cherry on top❤️❤️❤️!!!
So good right? Leo's dad said that was his father's day present. If you search RUclips enough you can see him, and a chubby-faced kid version of Leo performing together quite a bit lol.
You can definitely tell they're Father & Son... Fab end to an UHMAZING gig! 😁❤🎵 x
Space age fantasticness going on..my lord.. I just cant get enough...and your music inspires some sultry creations.. Thanks guys... I cant honestly say I am prob ur #1 fan..cant sleep needing more of this tantalizing greatness..
I listen to this at work, it puts me in a focused zen state…
Epic that solo at 55:40 I would call it "Beautiful Cleopatra marching slowly on contemporary catwalks"
You guys. 😭🥶💜🎺🎷🥁your dad!!!!! Tell him happy Father’s Day. Big fan. Love you all!!!
A true Legend. ALREADY!♡♡♡♡
He's not dead yet.
Pure awesomeness 💙😍
Wat he’s the whole thing. That was SOOO awesome at the end with his dad!!
there was a great band I used to listen to in the early nineties that had the same sound, but they had a tuba, wish I could remember the name, been so long since Ive heard this type of sound, love it still the same...
world class drummer
I can't even. This is my favorite, I wish I had seen THIS show live (youtube doesn't do the drums justice) hurry & come back to Austin pleeease
Sludge is a god!
Insane set
Crazy that the kid from bad Santa grew up to be a bad ass trumpet player
You should see how well he whittles now, lol.
The king of sludge literally has 4 hands
lol somtimes i just leave random comments like this ☆
@@Glitchhss It's not random in this case, it's totally on point and absolutely amazing. King of Sludge is the total shit!!
Would be funny if he really did and we only now noticed.
For some reason too many zooz reminds me of modern acid jazz, similar to Galliano. Lively with some beat, sweet!
I have wattched this countless times too many zoos is the best
I need transipction for leos solo in pep talk

1:07:00 for that insane ending
what the song name?
Queen... Leo is a Freddie Mercury of bari sax; Маtt - Brian May of trumpet, King of sludge - Roger Taylor of his drum and percussion devices
who's Deacon?
Matt isn’t anyone. He needs to go, his playing is not to the level as the other two. Holding them back.
behave. He is awesome. Getting those tunes out of that one piece is on par with the top.

I had the algorithm randomly throw these guys and Moon Hooch at me, years ago--and it's the best random suggestion it has ever made lol. I have some more sets on my channel from them and Big Blitz, am sure you'll like all three.
Umm? Wow.
Not sure what to say, mind blown.
Thanks.
Thanks, I have a lot of other concerts on here from similar bands you'll also probably enjoy. Have a great day!

Thats awesome. Just saw moon hooch in rochester. The big blitz kids were in the audience. I even got to show mike and james big blitz' set tonight. We watched on my laptop and the moon hooch guys were just so stoked by it. Mike gives them skype lessons so he was so happy for them.

Damn, Leo! 😃
It's like a New York City Safari !
Does anyone know what kinda mics they use for their instruments
I would also like to know what clip-ons they use.
They look like AMT mics. Top of the line!
Where can I find the song from 45:20 ?? I heard it on one of their concert and it's trapped in my mind, I always sing it, but after the concert I never heard it, and I really-really want to! PLEASE HELP :D
I don't think this song has a name yet (at least publicly, since it isn't on an album); I didn't try to get, or even check out a set list--though I didn't see them use any. You can see a different version of this song on my full set I recorded of them a few months prior to this show at the Beachland Ballroom. Link should start right before he comes out with the tenor. ruclips.net/video/IjsFaE-9fn0/видео.html
a new single called "black ice"
Damn this is so cool to be able to reply to, I’m pretty sure by now you’ve already found it but just in case. They finally made this into a song after year and it’s called black ice

Hey, are you going to their show tonight at 4, in Philadelphia?
Nah, they have a show in Cleveland I was going to go to on the 28th, but am watching my ex's daughter that night I think. If you're going and have access to an iphone, film it though for sure. Hope you've been well.
I will try my best!
@@swiftcascade8764 I should be seeing Moon Hooch on New Year's, so look out for that show. Also might post some random content tonight.
Had James Muschler of Moon Hooch over for a little bit, but we didn't make any videos. Was what I was alluding to earlier. Was still a lot of fun. They just got done recording a new album so look out for that soon at least!
How do you have these contacts because that is awesome!

Thats sick, wish I could've been to one of their shows. Hopefully within the next few years whenever they go on tour or something
Yeah Pepper...
What song do they play with his father at the end ?
Jumpin' Jack Flash by the Rolling Stones. Was Leo P's father's day present to his dad apparently, lol. Pretty cool.
A trumpet players wet dream right there...not to mention othet wet dreams..haha leoooo
Hi all. I think and if I'm not mistaken, the saxophone he plays is a baritone.
Yup, a YBS-52 with an otto link mouth piece. He also was gifted a purple baritone sax while in Costa Rica I believe. Can find video of him playing it down there, with Grace Kelly, and once when TMZZ got shut down busking on a sidewalk lol.
Yo, Gang of GreenHorns, I tried my best to get the best audio I could, however it was too distorted to be video quality. Also I was right to your left.
Oh its okay man. So the one advantage i can definitively say that iphones have over android is the audio never clips when recording video. Im going to look for an app that lets you adjust the prefader(s)/gain for your phone's mic(s) (if that is possible). I know how it is, a day after this i got a ton of great Moon Hooch video and my android made most of it into hot garbage lol.I was trying to borrow an old iphone before i went and saw them bc i was afraid of that actually.
hot garbage, Haha!!
Damn! It's Eric Leeds and Atlanta Bliss (Prince wishes).
Dude whats the first song called? That s**t is so freakin' hot!
That would be "Pep Talk" from their first album.
Does anyone know the song that is from 19:00 to 25:57?
Idk, thought it may have been kne of the old songs off of F Note changed up some, but I dont think it is now. If anyone does know, that'd be cool.

What's the song at the end
Jumpin' Jack Flash by the Rolling Stones? or do you mean the one before that? Sorry to anyone who asks about a song title on this (or any other vid) and I don't reply. I usually see the comment, but just don't know lol. I listen to most of these bands as long live performances--so sometimes I never learn song names.
I think this is my most watched RUclips video 🤗🥰🔥
That's awesome to hear! I've watched all of these sets a couple times at least lol. Big Blitz just streamed a show last night from their house if you want something new to listen to: ruclips.net/video/rAV8p7sqhCI/видео.html
Anyone know what tenor and mouthpiece Leo uses?
The tenor is called--I think--"Black Magic", possibly just by Leo though, and it might be a custom Z model by Yamaha. Again not totally sure. Believe he uses an Otto Link mouth piece.
CE Winds tenor sax and it’s a Durga mouthpiece I think
Marcus Intravaia I once talked to Leo after a show in philly and asked him abt his tenor mouthpiece, he said he was at sax.co and got the first metal tenor mouthpiece he could find lol
Wish I was there last night :(
Wish you could have too. It was a lot of fun, crowd was all really nice. Wenzl and Mike guest listed me for Rochester tonight and tomorrow so going to try and film some Moon Hooch. Still have their show from the 15th of June to put up. It's stuck on my friend's phone for a few more days though.
Gang of GreenHorns Sounds wicked. Yeah, I heard they were sold out otherwise I'd be there. Haha good luck!
We came down from Cleveland and had the best time! We were right up front, just to the right of whoever shot this. Thanks so much for posting this. Great venue and Big Blitz rocked it big time too.
That's awesome, we came over from Kent and Youngstown. Big Blitz covered two tickets for me so I can't thank them enough--wouldnt have swung going otherwise. I got to hang out with the saxophonists the next day at the Rochester Jazz Fest, and we all watched Moon Hooch just kill it for two shows. One show largely improv'd. Wenzl and Mike guest listed me for all four of their shows in Rochester so I can't thank them enough for making that possible either. Was so much fun. I heard Leo P approachd the kids from Big Blitz after the show about recording something together too!
How cool is that!!! We are going to see them at the Freedom Fest this Friday. Can't wait, I get to see them twice in one week!! sweet
How I can reach there contact ..
Not affiliated, but I would just email one of them directly or check their site/social media pages.
You know what's odd and funny is that Leo turns left all the time, but when he does his patent spin he goes right.. Weird observation 🤷♂️
