Reminds me soo much of the days I played in Jazz band in high school. Everybody was insanely talented and we would break out into improv/ solos for hours and enjoy each person’s form of expression at that very moment. You could feel exactly where their mind was through the music. It was never the same and we all fed off each other’s style for the moment. I’ll never forget it.
So siick...as usual...but this set ...this was extra awesome..man.. the energy and skill oh my God it's just unbelievable ..the music...skill... but it's the emotion behind it that drives it!#! I love you guys!!
He missed the note but I think it sounded pretty good. Spiced the song up a little you know what I mean? But yeah first time iv'e ever heard him miss a note!
Sometimes the reed is still too stiff and needs to soften up . I'm pretty sure thats what was . After he played the note a few times it came out easier . His reeds must go thru hell .
pro sax players need to torture their reeds before they become adequately playable. I'm sure Leo tried breaking into his reed before the show but finding a reliable isn't very easy. I think that's what happened.
Someone should tell him his shoelace is untied lol he's good I couldn't listen to a whole concert think it would be a bit boring after a while thought he was brilliant when I first seen him a few years ago as a New York subway band
Pisces Rising I get what you are saying but it’s the subway style playing that people like. If they get a drum set and become stage performers they lose that subway feel.
I think there after a certain style that only them as a band can reach from coming up a out of the subways of newyork.i think they rock .keep up the nice work.
They call that type of music Brasshouse. These dudes jam! Check out the Lucky Chops. Leo used to jam with them too. They've got a drummer, diff trumpet, tenor/alto sax n a sousaphone/tuba. Saw the Zooz in Stl back in Feb and they blew the roof off the joint!

Saw them live in Kansas in a 300 person venue, kit works perfect for stuff like that. Maybe when they’re selling out theaters and stadiums ;)
