- High power test tank with the arctic camoflage Sea Doo in my backyard! We try a few crazy stunts in the above ground pool and it gets totally Destroyed. Some good old fashioned trick riding, urban hilbillly style.
For sale- minor scratches, never beached, fresh water used only.
A little old lady rode it to church on Sundays.
Only 1 hour of engine time.... LOL

Matthew, It's a different ski. The one with purple rub rail went away. This is a 94 SP - bare bones simple and cheap to operate. I picked it up for $100 and got it running over last winter. Because I don't have much invested I'm not too concerned with the little bit of damage that comes from smacking it down on the lawn. Oh, and I tried painting a rub rail once but it didn't hold up for long. Will pass the word on to the boys for you. Thanks!

Steve Vigus hope your gonna get some more seadoo videos out. Love watching this video just for the ski itself. I started with an sp, then went to a yamaha vx, then a kawi 650 stand up, then to an spx, then onto a spark. I still ride the spark, but I missed my original sp so much that I got a 94 spi with a blown motor that I'm just about done completely overhauling. Thanks for the great videos. Keep um coming.

Hi there. Just an update I sold my 94 Seadoo XP with the bad crank. Now I have A 93 Seadoo SP. I overheating alarm goes off all the time even after I replaced the sensor with a new one. Thoughts. Can't wait to see your next video
New profile pic, right? Did you recently get married? Check the pisser, that water exit point back by the tow loop. The line that comes off the head should have water flowing through it when the motor is running, either in the water or on the hose. If not, you have something blocking water from flowing through the cooling passages on top of the head. These can clog up with salt, sand, vegitation, corrosion, whatever. If that's the problem you can just pull the bolts off the cover and polish things up inside. These are not the same bolts that hold the head on - those are under the cooling cover. If it's a salt water ski then you may encounter corrosion that will keep you from getting a good seal when you put it back together. If that's the case, then just pick up a used freshwater head for 10-15 USD and save yourself a lot of trouble. I think that you will love the SP - super economical to operate and simple to troubleshoot. Let me know how it goes!
Steve Vigus no I didn't get married. I am a DJ when I'll not working on the ambulance. I checked and there are no clogs. Everything was pissing out where it needed to. I had to disconnect the cable cause the alarm sounded.
The alarm sounds when the sensor provides it a path to ground. If that wire is grounded elsewhere, then you will have a constant tone, even if you disconnect from the sensor. Since it stops when you disconnect it, I'm thinking that you have an obstruction somewhere in the cooling circuit. If it's pissing it shoud be fine unless there's an obstruction in that small portion of the head assembly where the switch threads in. The only other cause that I can think of is operating at low rpms in warm water. Mine will beep sometimes in the summer while transiting a no-wake area; revving the engine for a few seconds usually cools it back down. Probably not a factor for you this time of year.

Well I checked and it ran 140 degrees and everything was clear. I'm thinking it is just a bad design. Tried a new sensor and same thing

LOL! Wish you could have seen the pool after I cleared up the water. Dumped a bunch of bleach in the day before filming and in the morning all the water was gone. That's why we ended up with river water in the pool for this video. It doesn't make as much sense when the pool doesn't look like a pool, now does it? But it was fun...

Not much. These hulls are super strong and mine was already very scratched up. Did I mention that I only paid $200 for the ski?

No way! I used to launch my skis from ramp next to the bridge. You have to do it quickly to keep the water moccasins out of the footwells.

+Chaos Zombie999 no idea. Bought it from a guy who kept in on a dock outdoors for years. Pump and motor were seized but I got it running and rode it for an entire season so far. That's a success in my book!

Yes it was soooo nasty! Wish you could have seen the crystal clear water that completely leaked out the night before we filmed this. Lesson: Next time, pick up all of the pine cones before setting up the pool.

Umm...think I'm getting close now. Found a source for the broken bolts. Look for an update next week and then maybe we'll put this baby on the cold water for a test ride!
