@@dannyx498 they are different ages, different eras, different moments in movie making history, the Christopher Reeve , s Superman is the classic one of the 70,s and 80, s comics . Chris Reeve portrayed perfectly the Silver Age Superman in the same way Steve Reeves did for the golden age era of 40 , s and 50, s . And Henry Cavill is the perfect Superman of today. More realistic , no "mock in cheek ". Today an evil Superman would be real evil , something that was imposible in 1983 . The whole point of this sequence is that its about someone who's constantly in the spotlight and has a meltdown because of it. Like a lot of celebrities do.

The showdown & knockouts. Insane 👿 superman vs kindly Kent. He couldn't control his worst enemy for own will (a mind fierce battle). Beat down the power of fear😨.

I still believe this was just in Clark's mind. I don't think there was an actual fight; it was just Clark's good nature fighting his evil nature. And in the end, the good won.
It reminded me of the Star Trek episode where the transporter split Kirk into his kind and aggressive halves. Neither could exist without the other...same with Clark.

Ok troll, if I must explain myself, the workers never witnessed the split between Clark and evil Superman, they ran out of fear.
Now which bridge do you live under? (Look it up) 🤣

My mother was a quadriplegic, we were in a horrible accident, she was thrown from the car and broke her neck. We saw Christopher do a motivational talk in Hamilton Ontario, he changed her whole outlook on life, meeting him just before he passed, he was a Superman.

This scene was definitely the best thing about Superman 3, it really showed how highly versatile and how much range Christopher Reeve had as an actor, the way he was able to make the Clark Kent and Superman personas feel like two completely different people was incredible even though it was the same guy. I just wished that they expanded this concept and made it as an entire movie because this was so epic, to watch Superman go completely nuts and fight himself was perfectly executed. 39 years later and this still gives me super chills.
    9:26 Superman is back!

The color scheme of his 'dark' side suit fits the color of what they did to him in the reboots of the 2000's. Oh how they lost that color and how we lost faith in the joys of our childhood memories of this great 1st movie. I am saddened by what they've done to Superman in the later years of his movies. The only saving grace of the Superman franchise was Smallville and now...Superman & Lois.
