Unless the insurance has an exclusion against driving through flood water they would pay out and have done for this ford on many occasions. It's easy to Google and find out

About four years ago I drove into some very deep water without warning. The water was up to the windows. As it was an old Audi I only paid a hundred quid for I thought ‘sod it’ and cranked the engine over. Amazingly the starter motor pulled the car out of the water and then the engine fired. I drove it around for another year and then sold it for two hundred quid.
Engine won't turn over at all if hydrolocked. Your story dosn't make sense
We called them slippery Jim's in the AA, BRILLIANT to get cars moving when wheels locked up!
Poor guy was proper stressed about the situation he got himself into. There shouldn't be any fun or joy in seeing people distressed and unhappy. Imagine if the situation was reversed.
PJ was ar too joyful when he thought the last lady had flooded her car. Not a good look at all!
I wish the other videos showed the complete conversation. Absolute fair play to him for apologising. A lot of minerals needed for that. Hope it wasn’t too costly and his daughter/partner understood. Respect for showing this 👍🏼
Ahhhh I felt a bit for that guy. We’ve all been in situations similar to this and I can understand his frustration. At least he calmed down and apologised - nice bloke on a bad day. Good video PJ 👍

if water gets inside the airbox , then get sucked into the engine , its new engine time as the conrods get bent and it destroys the barrels , pistons and big end
Good on him for admitting he was a bit stroppy and apologising. Could have been a much worse outcome but at least he was able to come to his senses and use his head. Hope he was able to get the Beemer fixed up.

In Arizona we have a "stupid motorist law." If a flooded road is barricaded and you drive around that barrier and get stuck, you have to pay to be recused.

Hydro locking and bending a con rod is a concern. Don't try to crank the engine. Remove the spark plugs, crank the engine (if you can) and see if water comes out of the cylinders. These cars were driven far too fast through the ford.

As soon as they mention 'filming kids', they ultimately change the rational version of everyday normal documentation of prats driving through water deeper than the air intake of their engine fuel injection and ignition systems thus lowering themselves to the bottom rung of any reasonable discussion ladder; whilst believing that somehow now it's the fault of the videographer.
To me that is simple projection of what they do

It's all pretty dumb doing this. Hydrolocking an engine is costly to repair, drowned electrics can be problematic straight away or show up later down the line with random failures. Egos over intelligence again!

I will say someone in my company drove one of the vehicles though similar and wrecked the engine as air intake sucked water in , Insurance company not interested as self inflicted ...

On the older BMW's there's tools in the toolkit to release the parkbrake and transmission if the engine won't run. Probably the same for newer BMW's.
They went to the effort to design a special tool to help the last owner take it to the scrap yard. Customer service

The most ridiculous thing about BMW xDrive - if the car won't start it won't get out of park so all 4 wheels are locked. Only way round it is to remove the gearbox undertray and manually release the gearbox lock. On a VW Golf, you just lift the gear shifter gaiter and press a button. Crazy design.

If you suck water into the cylinders thru the air intake, you can pretty much destroy your engine.
Water is essentially non compressible, so enough water in the cylinders will break everything. Rods, pistons, crank etc...

Talking about medication . I was on anti inflammatory worked reduced swelling to leg but couldn't breathe lie down or sleep for weeks . Turned out I was having bad reaction to Medication stop all of it . Long term use is not good . Best thing is rest and a plaster cast avoid screw and plates where ever possible . Your body will tell you what's happening listen to it and don't rush it repairing it's self

When someone floods an engine going through deep water I'd imagine the insurance are tetchy about paying out as they dio request you take reasonable care and reasonable safe actions to a avoid collisions or liabilities

It's the 360 camera he's using it has builtin software that makes the stick invisible you can also do mad things like make the sky change color and other mad effects. They are about 500 quid. Amazing things. They can handle alot of bumps and stress. I'd love one
