- Today we visit the second Youngs Seafood plant in Grimsby, and I must say, apart from one security guard, the rest of the staff were awful.

The first security guard was a credit to the company, his job and himself. The second one was a clueless mug destroying the company image and making a fool of himself, the mouth telling you were to take pictures (the beach), I wonder what his reaction would be if you were telling him how to do his job? It always amazes me when people tell a photographer how to do their job with no idea of what that job is or how it’s done.

If they *had* any intellect, they wouldn't have to work in security.
Security guards don't need to have any interlect. Infact it's actually a job for the less clever people as all you need is a sia license, same with lorry drivers as most probably didn't do school.

I think the prawns that youngs process have a higher IQ and better manners than some of the staff they employ, especially the dopey/stroppy bloke telling you to take pictures on the beach (I bet he hangs around the beach with a camera on his days off😀).

What a contrast. The first security guy was great, but the Hi-vis muppets towards the end didn't have two brain cells to rub together. I doubt either of them has ever formed an opinion about anything on their own.
First security guy was a very decent chap. The second two (whatever they were) really prove why inbreeding is such a crime against humanity. Great catch there PJ in fairness. It's rare to get two such equally dumb exhibits in the same shot.

Problem with this factory and the ABP controlled Grimsby Docks in general - its a massive accident waiting to happen. ABP inherited the Docks, streets and all from the Council several years ago, which is why you see rotting Council furniture around. So you've got forklifts etc flying about the streets willy nilly as its Private Property and people wondering about - when someone gets killed - and they will - then you'll see people being issued with high viz etc to get to work, as they should be. It's totally inappropriate.

That sites been there longer than you and me and I've yet to see a forklift outside on the road or anyone be killed by one in my 40 odd years. If you're going to make a stupid story up at least have a bit of a research and a think...any site or place of work will eventually have an accident. A factory producing pillows with pillow soft machinery will eventually have an accident.
@PI7ABR3D @PI7ABR3D if those forklifts were flying up and down Ross Road and Wickam Rd (the roads we are talking about) before ABP took it from Council then that would have been illegal as they are not registered for public roads with no numberplate etc. And yes they do fly out of the warehouses onto the footpath and yes wagons are now loaded and unloaded on what used to be a public footpath with people in close proximity with no protective equipment- we literally watched it the other day on here, when they Youngs people challenged him on his lack of high viz! Pj was stood talking to a (perfectly nice) forklift operator on the road! 🤣 Where's the hundreds of peoples high viz going into Countrystyle and Youngs Coated Factory everyday?

The first security guard (Dave) was exceptionally respectful. He’s a credit to the company name.
First security chap nice, friendly polite. Next one, looked like Uncle Fester obviously 'educationally sub normal' or whatever is the current PC term for someone with a less than 2 digit IQ. He probably has to look in Yellow Pages for 999.
