I came to your channel because I was looking at buying a new daily driver (a Yaris), and ended up finding more parts for my first gen. Love the content
Just got an Ultraswing Bundle package and laid down a good $2,800 in total with taxes and shipping. Love this product and the accessories. Worth every penny. Mine is on a Tundra. Got the Ultra SideHack, the Table, Light Kit for Tag, and a tool pouch.
Just picked up a used but like new condition one for 800.00 😓😓😓 waited six months searching around because I didn't want to drop retail on something like this but my patience literally paid off 😁😁😁 love it
Shipping my GX overseas to a small island. Ordered this so when I take trips on the mainland I can take my spare with me since it no longer fits under my truck. Solid setup. I do get some oscillations at highway speeds when I it a bump but thats likely unavoidable as this thing is super solid. Any other setup would likely vibe more
The ultraswing is worth every dollar!! These are built for longevity and practicality. Both my son and I have one for our adventure vehicles and we couldn't be happier. In the future when I purchase another adventure truck, I can simply move it without worrying about whether it will fit or not.
After about 2 or 3 years the hitch receiver on the frame of the vehicle, and at times, related parts attaching the receiver to the frame, start to develop cracks. The trailer hitch was designed to take linear stresses, the type you'd expect with pulling a trailer. With the HMTC, you have now introduced a rotational vector that has a substantial amount of weight and leverage. The OEM receiver is not designed to take this rotational force. Over time, components related to securing the receiver tend to crack and fail.
Interesting theory, but this assumes two things. 1. that the OEM hitch exists at all. This is an aftermarket hitch, and is much more capable than whatever might have come on this truck from the factory 34 years ago. 2. That hitches can't take a vertical load. Many trailers within the weight capacity of this truck and hitch could have a tongue weight of 200 to 500 lb. that would be much more vertical load than this tire carrier could ever impart.
It’s kool. I’d like to get one. But I live in my reverse camera. I’m not putting that on them! But to buy another one would open up Pandora’s box as the stock one is integrated into the head unit! Still pondering it though. Gotta sort that out though!!
I was on the same page, the thing is I do not like how the C4 looks on the 4Runner, there is something off ... I like SSO as well, I believe these are the best and this is where I'm at now...
I'll build them for half price all day long. That's way too much money guys!! I just installed one for my neighbor and any jack with a welder can build one. Heck I've built similar ones out of 1 3/4 tubing for about $100. You guys are crazy.

Looks sweet 👍
what tow hitch is that? I have an 86 runner and I'm looking for a proper hitch so I can pick up a tire carrier.
It's a Curt hitch i believe. a local trailer and hitch welder just installed whatever he stocked
Awesome content
I'm torn between this or getting the C4 rear bumper.
C4 all the way

Are you gonna upgrade your rear springs??
Got a full lift kit waiting to go, just need to find the time to install it

All of them are still listed at $1500-$1600 on their site. www.rigdsupply.com/products/rigd-ultraswing-multi-fit-spare-tire-hitch-carrier
Ah it must be auto converting to CAD since I'm in Canada
Nothing like a first gen from California! That thing is mint! Those are non-existent in Canada. Nothing but rust buckets here

Sounds like you've got a market full of suckers fresh for exploitation. Let's meet back here in 1 year when you're rich.
would have could have just do it and beat the competition thats how capitalism works yeah?
I would have "added to cart" by now if it wasn't so damned expensive.
good video- the music is kind of irritating tho:/
The 3 to 4 month wait for the price is questionable
Where are you trying to get it? I got mine day of
