- A final hearing was held before opening statements in the Karen Read murder trial. She's accused of murdering her boyfriend, Boston police officer John O'Keefe in Canton.

The judge is full of it.

The judge is biased towards the prosecution. This will not be a fair trial at all.

She knows the Albert family! Her brother represented Chris Albert in a DUI. He killed a man while drinking! Sean Albert calls her Aunt Bev. She owns a seaside house near the Albert's, and they share the same beach! She lied under oath when denying she had any connections, and refused to recuse herself from the case!
They're finding every excuses for the Chief, Nelson and Morissey not to testify! That's what we call corruption! They know that their testimony would be so incriminating! They said to Higgins and Brian Albert they could get rid of their phone! Morissey deprived KR of her rights to a fair trial! They allowed 2 potential criminals to get rid of evidence, tampering with evidence!

The judge can easily agree to some monitors, THEY would bring and a few cables. I don't see the big issue she wants to create. , Her big sigh is incredibly annoying and so dismissive... She's so disrespectful

She was set up, those people in that house killed him.
Yes I agree, Colin Albert had beef with O'Keefe for some time. Colin would litter O'Keefe's garden with beer cans was often confrontational towards his much older adult neighbor John O'Keefe. And because O'Keefe also found out about Colin's drugs dealing in O'Keefe's neighborhood (they were neighbors) and O' Keefe wanted to tell this to his higher ups.
The Alberts and their son Colin even went so far as to have a barbecue with friends on John's porch and also took pictures of themselves, leaving the mess there for John while he was on vacation in Aruba! So much bad blood between them already. So that's why Colin immediately hit John when he came into the Fairview 34 house that night and Brian Albert and Brian Higgins got involved in the fight too and Cloe the German Sheppard defended his bosses, it went badly wrong so they decided to just put him out in the freezing cold.They all agreed that they would all say that he had never entered the house.

Those kids can be coached and probably have flawed, unfresh memories at this late date.
It's incredibly false that they still use these children for that.
Karen gave them all her love for a few years and helped raise them.
She spoiled them quite a bit. (The last argument that morning was only because John thought she spoiled his niece too much with an iced coffee in a restaurant before she had to go to school).
It's just shows how crazy she was about them, as if they were her own children!
And the State now putting them up against her, horrible situation for them and for Karen!
Very sad that the State is doing this, they are really doing everything they can to try to smear her.

That shakey voice attorney must be starting her career and nervous. What notorious and significant experience as she is obtaining if that's the case.
Despite her nervous voice, mrs Little really does a fantastic job, she is super sharp, she has always prepared everything very well, she is just a super good addition to that team, and don't forget how judge Bev constantly humiliates and interrupts their defense and treats them super rude and they have to fight so hard for everything. I understand that it makes her very nervous, she is still so young.

If it's not dog scratches/bites, but injuries caused by the car, where is the blood on the car from the multiple cuts on his arm? Not a single drop?

Why the Heck are we even going thru a trial when its obviously pre- scripted !? I've been around overv60 yrs and have witnessed hundreds of trials....I've never seen one that the attorneys and judge pre-expect what each witness says and when and what questions will be asked! Redundancy and fixed. I do not consider this anything more than a rehearsal for a play...theatrical production. Not a showing of the legal rights of the defendant or victim. Very BIZARRE!
They need to get down to the house ownership ending and dog out of the picture now. This will be interesting how it gets addressed by lawyers and witnesses. Also why did home owners, not come out of house on ambulance presence.

Judges seem to be under pressure sonetimes. I'm not disagreeing with your point. We'll see more on this soon for sure.

I have been convinced that she is innocent however every time I see her, her expression is so smug. She's not doing herself any favors. I've been watching her for a while and I have never seen one shade of Sorrow and that's what is bothering me the most
you do not know what she is like in private. How would your face look if you know you are being framed and finally you are seeing some headway. I agree with @susanknight4043. Did I hear Aunty Bev say that NONE of the Federal Investigation is allowed? Can the defense call that expert from the Feds that said, the car did not hit JO and JO did not come in contact with the car.
You do not know me but you seem to have no problem judging and interrogating me. That said, since you asked, my face would reflect sadness, worry, and utter sorrow because if you care about somebody and they have been killed it's not easy to get over that whether you are framed for the crime or not. It's not just all about her, somebody lost their life.

And I do agree. I believe wholeheartedly she is not guilty. Too many cops are too damn close and too many things happened post that night. Killed dog, tore up basement floor, sold house, filled in pool, profit or too close and if he was ethical he would not have taken the call and wasn’t even on duty when the call came in.

Presumed innocent until proven guilty. You have her as guilty even before the trial has started. Given that most of the evidence against her is circumstantial and/or doesn't quite add up, I'd advise you reserve judgement until after all the evidence has been examined and considered by the court. In any event, Karen Read is entitled to a fair trail and not subject to armchair Internet judges - of which there are a multitude.

Only a few bizarre and unlikely claims in the State's case . And they figured she could only get fools for her defense . No wonder she looks relaxed and confident .
she is absolutely not guilty so why shouldn't she? She is confident in her innocence.

Isn't it against Hippa regulations to take blood draw? She wasn't driving. Did they need a warrant to take the blood?

@@debrahange8209Their policy is that they're not allowed to provide medical records to 3rd party. The police needed a warrant. They illegally obtained the information.
