Hey man I met Andre at the Abu Dhabi grand slam in Miami and he was a nice guy and he put out really good content. I respect a man that takes personal time to talk to an average guy like me.
    Thx Andre

Andre Galvao got to try it today in class. But usually the guy uses their other arm to prevent me from getting to my elbow by pushing me back down and/or they combo that by lifting their own hips to be higher than mine. Either way it’s a nice option ty

@@thisisudax Got you. Yes, there will be different reactions and you need to come up with options. When you are fighting you must have answers for all reactions from your opponent. I will need to show you what to do on a different video :)

This is gold! I'm ashamed to admit I still find myself (as a purple belt) in the terrible reverse half guard shown 19 minutes in. I loved the desperate deep breathes as this is a only a brief and fake respite! I hadn't I figured out what else to do there to realign my hips properly, now I understand it's all because of locking my legs the wrong way.
