As far as pure instruction goes, I put Andre up there with John Danaher, Henry Akins, and JJ Machado. I love it when professors take the time to explain the context surrounding the technique. 🙏
Gone are the days when you had to buy a shit load of over priced dvds to get this kind of stuff, thank god for you tube 😊.
Keep these videos up Andre.. they are gold! Going to drill these this week :)
Just blew my mind with this one. I knew the mouse trap Americana but hadn’t put it together with that armbar. Or for that matter, the choke you hinted at. I will definitely be using these against some unsuspecting training partners! Thanks for the lesson!
And thanks to Atos for sharing. Oss

De nada!
@@Galvaocast You explain everything really well. There's a lot of things I never understood. This is jiujitsu. You can never go from A to Z. But you need to learn b, c, d, etc. I wish I could train 1 year with you.
@@neodelospobres4908 thank you so much! Enjoy it.

At 16:10 can you start to force a kimura by blocking the hip going north south? Agian amazing details thank you
Thanks a lot! Very useful! There was a question: what should I do if, while I am trying to "turn off" the opponent’s hand closest to me, he presses his second hand on my neck, Adam’s apple and I lose my position?
Could you send us on our 101 session on our website: www.atosbjjondemand.com
That poor assistant needed a week for his elbows and shoulders to recover!

What’s the name of the pass at 19:35 and is there a video of Andre teaching it?
Long step pass from reverse DLR
I'm having difficulty getting my partner's frame off of my hip for the move. How do you stop the frame on the hip? Your partner in this video seems to be playing along nice but I wasn't able to execute because of the inside frame. How do you get through that?
Jonathan Wilkin we have other side control classes talking about that detail. There are different variation...you can check our online training www.atosbjjonline.com - also, you could watch other videos from our channel. I believe there are one video here that I talk about it!
