- Today I share with you my experience of the fragrance Amber Oud Tobacco Edition, a clone of the famous Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille and discuss whether this fragrance is better than the OG Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille.

The Al Haramain is amazing! If you buy it DO NOT judge it from the first sprays. It smells better. So much better with time. I mix it with Molecule 01

Was at a perfumery kiosk at Florida mall today. For years I was wanting a good, sweet, manly smelling cologne but I couldn’t hit a sweet spot. I use joop for work on a daily basis. I have d&g the one edp , Bleu de Chanel edp, Burberry touch edt, and not none of them are hitting the sweet spot. The guy at the kiosk introduced me to Al haramain and I was literally stunned! The smell was intoxicating. Something I smelled before, but could never figure what it was. Luckily I did my research before spending the $100.

I was highly impressed by my first Al Haramain fragrance “Amber Musk” which is a phenomenal clone of Ombré Nomade by Louis Vuitton. Since I’m not a huge fan of Gourmand or Sweet fragrances, Tobacco Vanille is one of the few Vanilla/Tobacco fragrances which I absolutely adore, along with Xerjoff Naxos, Spice Bomb Extreme, Mercedes Club Black, and Swiss Arabian Shaghaf Oud (Killian Black Phantom was very impressive as well;) How would you compare Amber Oud Tobacco edition with the fragrances mentioned above? (If it’s spicier…I’m sold;)

How is the projection?
Yeah recentley got. Loads of clove and dried fruit. Hardly any tabacco or vanilla. Def Try before buy.
If anyone will watch this video trying to decide which one to go for, i'll share my story. I found this video of yours, looking for comparison between these two. I bought the TF-TV, it is a 2019 batch, towards the end of the year, and its performance was shocking. It had 0 projection, and pretty much became a skin scent, straight away. Nothing like the TV i sampled, at the airport. I thought i was doomed with the purchase, so the Amber Oud Tobacco was a blind buy, and all i can say is wow. 60 pounds for 60ml? Lasts longer, smells stronger than the TF, so it is a very clear winner. The AOT has a presence of cinnamon which i didn't get as much from the TV, but it is beautifully blended. Also for my nose, it isn't towards the feminine side, but we all precieve scents differently and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. My suggestion would be is to save your money, and buy the Amber Oud Tobacco, and with the money saved, buy Tom Ford Tobacco Oud, so you'll have both ends covered. TO is very different and it's a love or hate, so make sure to try it first, but as i own all three of them, certainly go for AOT and TO. Great videos by the way, you would deffo deserve a lot more views!!!

Have you smelled Armani Code Absolu before? It's a similar cooler weather, strong vanilla scent & as someone who hasn't sampled TV before I was curious if the Vanilla is similar between how it's used in Code Absolu. I actually didn't like Code Absolu because the suede, leather was too much for me but I still want something in the vanilla, tonka bean family which is why I was hoping maybe the tobacco leaf would be better to my nose than leather was
@@cecilsays-legalmindsetcant1339 I could suggest to try spicebomb extreme, it's a cheaper, longer lasting, absolute compliment getting alternative for tobacco vannile. It is not a replacement, but having just sampled the recent batches and how weak they are, moving on i'm happy with spicebomb extreme.
@@_-MiamiVice-_ I tried to like Spicebomb Extreme on two separate occasions sampling it but was also not feeling it. I did sample it on paper each time, though, & didn't even get to the mid. Maybe I should just suck it up & test it on my wrist & see how it is for a day. If I hate it I could just wash it off

Love the look and feel of your background 2) Excellent intro with music & graphics, very professional 3) I’m a fan of accents, that is a hook 4) Your knowledge and explanation of the fragrance Exceptional - I like that you break it down by categories, important for your audience. Especially like that you time lapse the review and allow the dry down to develop!!! 5) Personality = Magnetic 🧲. Just became a fan and look forward to seeing more of your channel 🤩

Does the 2 oz bottles have a pressurized sprayer? I purchased a 6.7 oz bottle and it has a pressurized sprayer which atomizes a fine mist like a super soaker. I can’t tell if I applied too much to my wrist and that is the reason why it’s not projecting as well (Wrists tend to be a cooler pulse point and over saturation on oily skin tends to mute fragrances) or if this is typical for this fragrance? Sillage is excellent though at the moment. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated?!

When it comes to Tobacco fragrance, I have yet to find anything as good as "Parfums De Marly Herod". Having said that, I think they reformulated and diluted Herod.
I did not like TV at all. I like the discontinued TF Tobacco Oud a lot more than Tobacco Vanille...

I tried the tobacco edition, did not like it because it has a steong honey smell in the background, it is too sweet for my taste, but its a good quality product, ot does not smell cheap. I know a lot of people love it, it is a good quality product. Wish they had it without the sweetness.
Can anyone tell me which is the best of the two? Al Haramain Amber Oud or the Al Haramain Amber Oud Gold edition??

Not at all, camera is a Sony a6600 with a 24gm lens. And I edit with premiere pro. Hope that helps bud.

This does not have a super strong tobacco scent to it. Really. I wanted it to be less toned down n give us more of that sweet tobacco. !

Why is this out of stock everywhere?
Not too sure. I think they stopped production whilst Covid was happening but I could be wrong.
I have been waiting for this fragrance for months! I wasn’t able to find it anywhere either. I purchase many of my fragrances from fragrancex and signed up on the waiting list for this one. I got an email today notifying me that it was back in stock. I jumped on it ASAP!!! I checked back on it this evening and it was already sold out. Im glad i got it on time. I suggest you go on to fragrancex and sign up on the waiting list as soon as possible. Hopefully they get it back in stock soon again. Happy hunting!
@@soniaolivarez2719 I actually purchased the body spray version of Tom Ford's tobacco vanille. Even though it's a body spray it lasts all day it's very potent! It was only $49

I bought this because of so many nice reviews about Tobacco Edition. But...not impressed. Cheap smell. Much better is Tobacco Vanille by T.F. I can not compare them.
Totally get where you are coming from. I think that this is a great alternative but it is at a cheaper price point and I suppose you get what you pay for.
