    Well done
    Compromise is the problem
DJI is very smart. These challenges may be intentional.
The intention being to own both systems and keep them separate…maximum revenue, maximum balance between convenience and image quality.
Image quality will win out in the long run and V2 with vista and air unit may go the way of analog.

Aside from the binding bug, the V2 goggles are still the goggle I would choose from DJI's lineup since it is the most compatible and the performance is exemplary. I also agree with you, that they have no financial incentive to fix the binding bug or increase compatibility between the different goggles and systems to make it the best possible product. Their goal is to sell more goggles 2 and goggles Integra.

Thanks so much for the video.
Really helpful and looking really good!
One of the things I feel is discussed a bit less in G2 verses Google V2 vid’s is for those looking to get a first set of DJI goggles.
Whilst Googles v2 are a more tried and tested system that work (with their quirks), I wonder about what they’ll be like going forward?
Are they also only on par with the Goggles 2 after their respective mods and hacks? Which leads me to wonder where the G2’s might be in a few years? (All that to say, are the V2’s as good as they’ll ever get, whilst the Goggles 2 might still mature and come into their own a little further down the track?)

You asked possibly the hardest question, because I think some of the issues with the goggles to and goggles Integra are physical hardware problems, that may not be able to be fixed, or their software "quirks" that, based on DJI's history, are unlikely to change. I think there is an argument for the v2 being DJI's peak, but I think a better way to look at it is that there are now competitors to DJI that have advantages DJI does not offer (HDZero and Walksnail). If you have no plan to buy an Avata, and you don't already have DJI fpv drones, i think walksnail and HDZero are worth a hard look because you get access to things like HD "tiny"whoops, choices of camera, and strong community support. I'm not sure you can really go wrong, but having flown the goggles 2 for 3 weeks, it feels more like a horizontal move than a significant upgrade from the V2.

In short, I would still recommend the V2s used if you can find a pair for under 400$, despite the binding bug. And take a good look at alternative systems like walksnail and HD Zero.

Goggles2 have the diopter adjustment, so people that wear glasses can use the goggles glasses free.

Yes, as long as you fall into the adjustment range which I think is positive 6 to negative 6. You can get custom lense inserts for both v2 and goggles 2/Integra that are your prescription.

Is there a noticeable difference on the oled g2 compared to v2? I like the best possible image quality over latency for my flying and currently deciding which one to pick

There is no question that the saturation and color are better on the Goggles 2. That said, both are a double edged sword because you loose detail and less visibility in high contrast situations (flying through the woods or going from inside to outside a structure). Same goes for low light situations. While the screens look better, getting the whole screen in focus is challenging (or impossible) depending on your face and eye position. You can fix this by reducing the size of the display in settings, I currently run 9%

Excellent set of goggles, arguably the best set of goggles for the DJI system (most compatibility, optics, and for most, comfort) 👍🍻

I like both but I'm still deciding help me decide

My recommendation would be to get the V2s if you want the best compatability with all of DJIs products right now, they may also be the least expensive if bought used. If you fly or want the Avata, or really want the oled screens, get the Goggles Integra. If you want the lowest weight goggle with swappable batteries and focal adjustment, the Goggles 2 are it.

If you can try them both then do it. No one can tell you what is best for your face and budget.
You might find that the differences between G2 and V2 are so small that you prefer to save that money. Or maybe that you prefer smaller lighter goggles. Hard to say.
Not to mention the lens issues the G2 has (if it doesn’t fit your face)

@@MrCoffis I completely agree, if you can try both, that is the best option and the only way you'll know which fits better. I would also like to add the field of view on the goggles Integra is not really a big deal since most will have to run the goggles too at 80% screen size to get it fully in focus. Not surprising, that 80% of the goggles 2 is about the same field of view.
