Hi I’m Rick Shiels, welcome to my channel RickShielsPGAGolf. This RUclips channel is designed to help you play better golf, also to help you enjoy your golf more!
I specialise in golf club reviews, golf club unboxing, golf club news, golf club head to heads, and all about golf clubs.
I also want to make you play better golf by providing coaching video on all topics about golf, how to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.
I will also help you lower your score by chipping better by stopping you duff and thin chips, pitch the ball closer and also create backspin. Also I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts!
On this channel I also make fun and entertaining golf content based on crazy and sometimes “gimmicky” golf clubs. I like to cut through the marketing hype about products and I like to give you the honest truth about golf equipment.

Rick, it would be so cool if this became a series. Get different pros/RUclipsrs to take on JCB with 10 mulligans. Have a running leader board and see who does best. Would love that!

This is in my opinion one of the top three videos you have done. Y’all were hilarious together and the golf was incredible.
Seems hard to imagine, but there are probably 50-100 guys that are either better than him or equally as good, but better under pressure.
Tour golf is insane
Goes to show how good the top guys are. I grew up with guys who routinely shot 65-66 on our local course and couldn't break 75 trying out for Tour spots.
@@moritzbunger9447 i agree with the thought, but hes currently 1801st in the world, with his highest being 415th... put that in perspective. its like when people say steph curry could play on the pga tour. they dont realize how many class golfers there are out there.

This really illustrates how good tour pros are. Ryan made JCB look like a pitch and putt, but has yet to make to the DP World Tour or the PGA tour. Absolutely amazing!
I predict he will make it to the DP, within two years time.
That’s all I was thinking watching this. Course rating is like 75. He probably would have shot a 64 or 65 straight up never having seen it before. He’s ranked 1801 in the OWGR and never cracked the top 400. Golf at the highest levels is insane.
was thinking the same. Honestly watching him I didn't notice a lot of shots where he was saved with a mulligan. Maybe 2-4 shots total? Like 5 were on the par 3 and he could have had par with any of the originals he was just trying for a birdie chance. Even on the Par 5 he put himself 20 yards closer in the fairway and then missed a long birdie putt, so I think he pars that without the two mulligans.
You know he's a serious golfer when his shirt, shoes, and putter grip all match !!! Best wishes to Ryan on his future pro career !!!
I go with the saying "Can't play good might as well look good", but that is not the case for him...lol
Ryan seems like a guy who could genuinely make a living off RUclips or golf or both. Genuine charisma and really good on camera.
Not just golf, I genuinely reckon this is the best sports content on RUclips. Fun, insightful, talent in abundance and great variety in video whether it's mulligans, scramble, 10 shot challenges or just rounds of golf around amazing courses. 10/10 Rick keep it up

Incredible! I was disappointed that Rick was only caddying and not playing, but he was great on the bag. This guy hits absolute bombs off the tee.
Thanks again Rick for giving Ryan an opportunity to let us see how far removed our impression of good golf is from the professional game, what a talent. This was an exhibition of control and accuracy which leaves the average club golfer bewildered. This was one of the coolest video concepts I've ever seen. This was such a unique way to pressure a tour pro because it made them completely change their mindset, but also push them to play incredible from the start. Absolutely amazing! Please do this again.
I've seen this course played many times. And can we get a round of applause for that opening 3 wood shot. Rick says it a lot about being a amazing shot and perfect etc. But I don't think people realize just how much of an amazing shot that really was

@@sebastianheine378 absolutely, there is no doubt that the 11th was incredible. And that would be plain to see by any novice viewer. But it's shots to open up start of a match that may look all fancy and fairly simple that a novice viewer wouldn't understand the level skill and difficulty they really take. This whole video was full of impressive shop placement and control. Is incredible to watch these guys perform. It's like a work of art

I’ve loved seeing all the top end pros on your channel, and in particular seeing Rickie was awesome. I have to say though out of everyone, Ryan looks the best. He is such a consistent golfer that hits far, great long irons and putts well. Ripped up JCB like it was an ordinary course. Great video

The fact that this guy is this good and not yet on the PGA Tour winning many times goes to show how insanely fine the margins must be at the pro level. I know he has been injured too, but to be this good and not be on Tour is crazy. I've been playing for 27 years and never even broken 80 at 6400 yards. Golf is hard but this dude makes it look like the easiest thing on the planet. Amazing stuff.

Rick, I have been watching your instructional videos for a few years and I just re-watched your Driver Series from 5 years ago. As a late bloomer to golf, your videos have helped my game significantly and I have learned SO much about the game of golf. I have also learned that its ok to hit bad shots every once in a while as long as I understand why I hit that bad shot and how to hopefully correct it next time. Thank you. Thank you. Love this! I actually know Ryan"s dad through tennis from years ago when he ran High Performance at Carson CA. Ryan was about 12 the time and Ray was pretty positive about Ryan's potential in golf. Awesome to see him doing well!

One of my favourite videos for a while, the thing that did it for me was the title of the video gave nothing away so I found myself genuinely pumped up with all the great shots chip ins etc. More video titles like this please your big enough now to not have them click baity 👍

Great episode. Seemed like the Mulligan's were more of a hindrance than a help, well except the 17th. Would be good to do this with a high handicapper (me), with you giving them help around the course in terms of what shots to play and better course management.
Probably THE most entertaining and captivating video published to date. Not only JCB, but a Tour Pro with mulligans and of course Rick caddying epic in itself "Here's a provisional mulligan ball Ryan" brilliant! Not only was Ryan a big hitter, but with epic control! Thoroughly enjoyed 10 out of 10!
