Great interview! I must say that Ian broke my heart at Medinah! As I’m sure you can tell I am from the USA and live in Chicagoland. All is good! Thanks again for a great interview.

What a great watch it was fantastic to just listen to Ian Poulter talk and be honest and relaxed he is a great family man and I would love to go for a few beers with him I bet it would be a blast
Brilliant. The lads should be in the meetings between LIV and the PGA because they would certainly smooth the road forward! Ian came over brilliantly. Top man and very interesting listen.

Just brilliant, I was riveted to the screen. Great podcast, thank you Ian for your contribution to European Golf and such an honest and straight forward interview.
The Ryder Cup Goat 🐐 best podcast episode for ages if not ever! So much respect for Poults, always honest and speaks his mind. It would be criminal to exclude him from future Ryder cup captaincy! Can’t wait for the match and part 2!
Poulter is my childhood golf memory. Watching him as a child with my grandparents. Still one of my favorite player. Comes across as a great guy. Loved this podcast. One of my favorite
What a guy. Medinha made me warm to him. Ian’s contribution in Ryder Cups was fantastic. This podcast and some of his shots today will change a lot of people’s view on Ian. Great guy and fantastic golfer. Coming from a golf mad Scotsman 👍
Just been marshalling at the Betfred British Masters. What a difference when you meet the golfers "inside the ropes" The majority of the more well known, are either super concentrated or just stuck up. Stephen Gallagher never said thank you when I found his ball in the rough. Well it was at the base of a tree with no shot, so we can forgive him. Rosie told me to shift twice out of his eyeline but did acknowledge me afterwards. David Howell was the only one to say good morning when he arrived at the tee. "Good morning sir" "Good morning David". Paul Waring and his caddie Alex Evans interacted, but I had Instagramed Alex beforehand. The Japanese golfers acknowledged you more, well impressed. Any progolfers reading this just acknowledge the marshal's, they are there unpaid and can spend 10 hours at a hole, standing, concentrating on the play, be the first to applaud, interacting with the public, watching out for the welfare of the players. Just a thank you and a smile.
Ricks podcasts and RUclips are the best. Pouter is Always a team player , family man and a class act who loves competition. The insight on LIV was great , speaking on golf as a business and personalizing it with his kids makes him successful. Love to hear about his cars and racing but next time. Brutal when he beat the Americans for us , each time but he was absolutely the best in the Ryder cup and he should be a Captain and continue to battle.
Subscribed! We’ll done Rick. You are now officially the pinnacle of golf reviews with the hot new set up, there is nothing better out there! Look forward to videos from the new suite. Congrats again!
Wonderful Podcast, thank you, BUT… Guy - you can’t wear a hat in the clubhouse, been a member since 95 and learnt my lesson when thrown out one afternoon as a 15 year old by Alex Hay… proud to still call it my home club
Every single time I’ve seen Ian being interviewed or playing away from the tour or the Ryder Cup in a “for fun” circumstance, he comes off as genuinely cool, delightful, and interesting, fellow.
Its refreshing to hear you talk LIV with Ian. You certainly weren't this relaxed about your view on LIV when the topic first presented itself. Im glad you got to have a face to face conversation with him about the league.
This was never going to be anything other then absolutely tremendous, GOATS of golfing RUclips/podcasts for a reason, cannot wait for the match 👏 👏 ❤️ ⛳️
At 57 and playing golf since 7 (handicap was 2 at one time). I have on my calendar 5 weeks each yr - the 4 majors and the Players. Quite frankly, many of the other weeks I’d be fine just listening to these guys talk golf & how it happens, how its created…at that level. “Watching” more golf is not feeding my current fix!
This is why I have so much respect for Justin Rose and Rickie Fowler. They were prime candidates for leaving for LIV when LIV started. Rick and Justin both seemed on the way out skill-wise. What'd they do? They stuck on TOUR, grinded through the playing woes. Justin won and Rick is back in the Top 20 and will be on the Ryder Cup Team again. Spectacular!
Respect!!!!....who are you to make a comment on skill and how players want to make a living?....All players come to road blocks in golf Tiger,Jack,Hogan just to name a few and they work it out.The PGA tour is boring without the players who left for the LIV tour + legacy means nothing today, $$$$$$$$'s pay the bills.
Wow, Ian Poulter what a great pod cast/video, I just love how he is so family orientated, and his out look on golf is great, love watching him play and his passion, the LIV golf program fits in to his family life. He comes across as very approachable and is honest and down to earth.

Just finished- great 90 minutes of interesting and engaging video. Poulter seems to be a fine person, not just a great golfer. This confirms my following him thru nearly 20 yrs of Ryder Cups. Hopefully, like Gen. MacArthur, he shall return!
I’ve always liked Ian and to be honest; the only reason anyone didn’t was because they were influenced by the PGA Tour PR outlets following his move to LIV. Golf is golf at the end of the day and I’m glad the PGA and PIF merger means people can look back and realise how ridiculous the hatred/disliking of certain players was. Ian is a class act who gave his all on multiple tours and I’m glad people now realise he didn’t do anything wrong. Good luck to the man.
I wasn’t influenced by the “PGA Tour PR outlets.” I was influenced by Ian Poulter himself. He, Westwood, Garcia: over-rated and over-the-hill guys chasing easy money before turning 50. And, the “merger” is not a done deal. Don’t be shocked if it doesn’t happen.
Ive always been a massive Ian Poulter fan, but if you don't understand that LIV is detrimental to the game, you're perhaps missing the point yourself. Having large portions of professional golf owned by a private, for-profit group is a terrible outcome, whether it's PIF or the new PGA-Tour/PIF conglomerate.
Ian Poulter, you have changed my opinion of you, what a great guy just shows you that bad information should not be listened to. I was wrong ! great pod cast thankyou Mr Shiels and Guy !!
