- Royal Caribbean's private island of CocoCay is filled with fun and entertainment! My personal favorite spot at CocoCay is The Oasis Lagoon!!! The weekend cruise goes to only two ports: Nassau, Bahamas and Royal's private island Cococay! You have one day in CocoCay and you will want to make it the best!
The Oasis Lagoon is the largest fresh waster pool in the Caribbean with 6 distinct sections where you can sit to enjoy your day at CocoCay. Each section has it's own highlights (positives and negatives) that you need to know about in advance to ensure you have an excellent time and chose your perfect seating location! You will also learn my personal favorite section and where you can find me at the Oasis Lagoon!

great party atmosphere at the pool bar when I was there in March. Alternated my time there and at chill island. Best of both worlds.

I love a swim up bar. I sat just across from the dj but in the water. It was loud enough but not overbearing. Oasis is definitely my favorite

Thanks for this video. (When having the drink package) Will it be an extra charge for the service to come out and give you your drinks and if so do you also have to leave tip or is it automatically applied?
With the drink package, you will have 18% gratuity added at time the package is purchased. However, if you take care of the bartenders, they will take care of you. They do have people walking drinks around by the pool but they stay very busy and you want to be prioritized. The drinks at CocoCay will be included in the package.
Great video! If you are just going in the water and up to the bar and not getting a chair on the sand, what do most people do with their stuff? I would bring my phone and my credit/debit card but if I am going to be in the water mostly I just want to make sure I don't get everything wet or drop it. For context I will be going in January on a cruise for work. We will be in meetings until 11 am the day we stop at Cococay so I will be getting on the island later than most.
They actually have lockers around the island for you to look anything up for free. Has an electronic lock that is easy to use! Hope you have a blast and try not to work too hard!

We were there Labor Day weekend and it was too crowded. Is Nassau port already open? Thanks for sharing your videos.
Glad you enjoy! Thank you! Labor Day weekend was an outlier as Freedom had 2,400 passengers when it normally averages 1,400. They haven’t added back seating to promote social distancing. Still, it is a very popular party spot and people love the swim up bar! Nassau is still very quite 😢
Oh, forgot to mention there were two ships that day Freedom of the Seas and Mariner of the Seas. :) Our stop to Nassau were canceled due to port constructions and was replaced with a sea day, which wasn’t too bad. Thanks again and keep your video coming it helps newbie cruiser like me. :)

You sure can! They have concrete and pavers around the pool and no issue getting there.
I was there last month. There is NO quiет area in the pool. It's either loud or very loud especially when two ships docked at the island.
I will agree with you there. The noise has increased over the past year since this was filmed. It is a lot more of a party vibe all around.

I would do South Beach Cabanas or the Cabanas in the beach club. Those are your best bet.
Is this area included in our cruise fare please? We are tossing up either spending our time here or at the paid adults only area.
It is included! Not sure how it might change as Hideaway bay seems to be the same concept in the future.
Please; we will be traveling with someone in W/C- is there a chair lift to get in the pool anywhere?
There sure is! There are two lifts, one by the slipped entrance and one down by the bridge in the white spot! Believe the life guards need to assist but never seen an issue.
@@TheWeekendCruiser Thank you. The person we are traveling with is 100% disabled, she will need a life vest to be in the pool; is that allowed? (once she was kicked out of a pool because it had a no float/ vest rule) I'd hate to think of her not being able to get in the water.
@@lynda-jeanrichardson1870 A no float/vest rule? That is crazy! No, at the Oasis Lagoon, life vest are allowed and they have several available where you can just walk up and grab one. I know they have kids sizes but cannot remember if they also have adult sizes on hand.
Is the last section called section 5? Can I say that to the trolley driver?
Hey Ruth, they are named by the beach you want to go to. South Beach, CocoCay Beach Club, and Chill Island (only 3 stops)
