haha, I have heard a few people complaining about how the largest pool in the Caribbean is not heated. Hopefully, this cold snap they are having will move by quickly! Though, I do like your strategy of staying warm!

Thank you for mentioning the jet ski tour! My husband and I loved that excursion but I've seen many people not like it bc they thought it would be a free for all. It's a tour. You follow someone around the island and you can only go as fast as the "slowest" driver. They put the faster more experienced people leading the group but then you have stops along the way for others to catch up.
That is an interesting point. From reading the description on the website, I can see where people might think this. Glad most people still enjoy the tour!
we are heading out on the mariner on the 24 th and have the jet ski excursion booked..I wondered of you knew if the lockers would be nearby where we get the jet skis? Or do we have to walk some distance for the lockers. Thanks.
@@alishamaryleerichardson-go2106 hopefully the weekend cruiser can answer as well bc my time with the excursion happened pre-perfect day. When we did it we met at a hut where we were fitted for vests and watched the safety video. The lockers were there. I love Mariner! I hope you have fun!!

Brandon, I was there in Sep ‘19 after calling at Bermuda and Nassau on RC’s Grandure. As a single mum to Lucy who’s a stuffed Chow, I always travel as a lone human. I took her sister and puppy to make it my would-be-hen party. It’s highlight wasn’t just my 3 female dogs but cuddling a swimming pig over a boat ride to Berry Is. They were so greedy for our feeding apples though at least 1 of my dreams came true. I made the most of the cay’s free food and drinks to pay for this tour. At the end of the day I also stopped at the Capt Jack for a singer on my way back to the ship. I wished we’d stayed for the night. That perfect day had gone forever but thanks for your pretty pics which are much better than mine. June
I went on my 1st ever Royal cruise on Symphony of Seas in Dec before xmas. Traveled from the west coast and was so bummed when we couldn’t get off because of “high winds” I was so pissed and sad. Still am lol
Yes, those are the worst days! The Captains do everything they can but the big ships, especially Oasis class, are big sails in the wind and very tough to maneuver with high winds. It doesn't happen often but is a possibility! Sorry you had that experience😢
It's interesting, believe it or not the water park is capacity controlled with dynamic pricing. If one ship is there, they might do a full day to make mor revenue. If they have multi ships, might split the day in half. It will also be removed or show sold out if it has reached capacity. Just depends 🤷
@@emilyotr1 i don't fault you at all Emily. Depending on the age of your kids, the might be able to go at it alone but tough for it not to be a family experience. The price can be more than the cruise sometimes!

The Caribbean Sea is a body of water bordered by Cuba, Jamaica, Hispaniola, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands to the north, the Leeward and Windward Islands to the east, Venezuela and Colombia to the south, And Central America and Mexico to the West.The Bahamas is an island chain in the North Atlantic Ocean that starts about 60 miles north of Hispaniola and continues north-westerly for about 480 miles to the top of the Straits of Florida.
That is all very true but it is also correct to say the Bahamas is in the Caribbean even thought its geographical location is not by the Caribbean Sea. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caribbean Will try to keep this distinction in mind for future videos if I need to clarify more.
Oasis lagoon was FREEZING!! on the Jan 7 sailing. Going again on freedom Feb 4. 🥶🥶🥶 maybe I’ll just drink more to stay warm 🥳
