We just got off of Navigator of the Seas. 653 passengers on a 4000 passenger ship! We had a great time tho the energy from a full audience is definitely missed. All protocols followed by everyone. Can't wait to cruise in May!

Ben, I applaud you for moving tables at breakfast. I work as a nurse and currently caring for covid patients and it’s no joke how fast it’s spreading. Even with masks on and your too close to someone you can get it. As that’s unfortunately what happened to myself and my co worker. So proud to see what you did. Thank you. ❤️
They need money to maintain it and pay the crew. I've seen the price from $38 up to & 119. It all depends on how many are there in port and how many are booked. It changes.
Yes it all depends on how full the park is and how their numbers are running with one ship or two in Port. It can really very a lot! You can purchase it and if the price goes down call the cruise planner department and they will refund the difference. That's with any Excursion you purchase so it's always good to plan ahead and then watch prices.
WOW! We honeymooned on Freedom of the Seas in 2015. NOTHING was on Coco Cay. Had to ferry over. Just a beach, some makeshift bars (only one drink available and only to drink package holders) and a lunch pavilion that was free to everyone- cook out type food, hamburgers, hot dogs, and Caribbean specialties. It was super nice, super simple, and we didn't have to worry about paying for anything. I thought the slides and everything looked cool until you said $100 a person lol!
After watching you two for a while, my husband and I just booked our very first cruise! We will sail the Celebrity Eclipse to Hawaii this fall! Thanks for the inspiration!

Been 5 times on coco cay. first one 1999 unspoiled it was. See all the changes. We really like it, but....cruising becomes like floating theme parks , even the private islands. As you mentiod....100 dollars for you to get in a waterpark or rent a cabana. Insane.

While I agree and understand your concerns about seating close to others in the dining room, it may be because of staff shortages. While there are less passengers, there also maybe less staff and to expect them to run longer distances between tables might be a stretch. We noticed on our last cruise that servers were asked to do "double duty" with wait stations as fellow crew members tested positive and new crew members were being quarantined before actively working. We still got very good service, but we could also see the stress ( forgotten cream, coffee refills, etc.). Just an opinion. Love your videos.

On your next visit to Coco Cay I strongly recommend that you do the Coco Beach club especially if you have the drink package. The food is outstanding and it's an idyllic atmosphere.

Hey guys just catching up on some of your vlogs from the recent past. Just got off independence of the seas out of port Canaveral which included a visit to perfect day at Coco cay. We had a wonderful time. We did pay the up charge for the full day at Coco Beach club and It was fabulous. The lunch was the best food we had on the entire cruise, having drinks at the beach and in the infinity pool was awesome. We were sailing on a full cruise 4000+ so the limited 200 person capacity at the Coco Beach club was spectacular.
Funnel Cake is basically our carnival food. I haven’t made it in a while but it’s one of my favorite desserts/snacks. 🥰 I can’t wait to book a trip on the Odyssey. I love the Oasis so I’m excited to go on this one.

Congrats, Ben & David, you finally made it to Coco Cay. But you didn’t seem to have enough time due to the delay in docking there. You also saw Oasis I had to cancel over 10 years ago. I was there in Sep ‘19 on Grandeur after calling at Bermuda and Nassau. I had a boat ride to Berry Is to cuddle a swimming pig. It was my hen party I never had with my 3 stuffed female dogs. So glad you could get there after the transfer -- looks great. I'm always partial to HALs private island, as I'm less into rides and such, but Perfect day looked great.

During the Christmas holidays, they had most of their items 50% off. It might’ve been a black Friday type of deal. But I’ve also seen it go 25% to 35% off before the cruise.
Although the place looks perfect I was astonished that you had to pay such high prices for things like the water park! Shocking if you are travelling with a family!
Looks fantastic there - while we have -20 c here near Toronto - if you try funnel cake again add some vanilla soft serve ice cream and strawberries or strawberry sauce.

Loving your Vlogs Ben & David sooo fun to watch, though we are so jealous watching them from here in Brisbane, Australia. We can only watch on at the moment in antisipation to when we can leave our shores to cruise or even holiday again. In 2015 we were on "Quantum of the Seas" out of New York on an 11 night cruise to the Carrabean we had the best time ever as a family, now our two boys are adult men & waiting to see the world for themselves, how time has flown & the disruption this Pandemic has caused to all of us. We cannot wait to return to Royal Caribbean on any ship really though I prefer Quantum class as I find Oasis class ships way to big just my choice, though my wife wants to try the now new current biggest ship in the world & fleet the brand new "Wonder of the Seas" but for now, for us, just to get back to cruising again is a dream we can hopefully soon look forward to again. Caribbean again definately & on "Odyssey of the Seas" hopefully, beautiful ship & Coco Cay looks very nice also. Keep up the great work guys & keep our mouths watering & eys running with your funny humour on your cruise adventures, loving it 😂 . Take care & stay safe 🙌😎

@@Cruisewith That is what I figured to be the case... and why I wanted to make sure to comment about it so you guys know that, yes, there are people out there noticing those kinds of details. Audio, especially, is something that the more the viewers are able to just take for granted how great it sounds the more hard work went in to making that so. Especially with the on location shots. There are several very good cruise channels that I watch, and each is great in its own way, but I personally can't think of another that creates the production quality of on location that you guys do. (Unless they just sprinkle in some professionally shot stock footage shots :-)
So enjoy watching you both and learning more about cruising. Hopefully we will be sailing Ovation of the Sea this summer to Alaska (hoping things are a little more normal by then).
I am just off the Mariner of the seas this Friday. We went to the Cocoa Beach Club… it was wonderful and we paid 140 per person and worth it for the very quiet place and lobster and huge prawns included. Service to the beach was spectacular😊
We got off the Oasis on January 23-30. We had a truly PERFECT DAY at Coco Coco Cay on January 24th. 75 degree low humidity was great. We had 2700 passengers with only depending on source none to 3 crew with positive tests. Great cruise.

The prices of everything on the island are ridiculous. It’s all RCCL anyway - to charge $100 per person for a small water park with about 3 slides is a joke. Can get into Volcano bay for less than that
With with all the cruises you both have taken I was surprised to see that you had never been to Coco Cay! I was there for the first time this past December and I had a BLAST on the water slides and beach!!! Fantastic!!! Odyssey looks great and a bit different than the others! Continue to enjoy! ⚓️
Well, when my parents and I went on Odyssey, we got to go to Coco Cay. It was nice. When we had the back side room and my own bedroom, we could see them backing in and leaving Coco Cay after we rembarked the ship. It was fun. I wonder why they won't let people go there now.
We booked our first ever cruise a couple of years ago then covid struck and it was cancelled. You guys have given such wonderful insight into cruising and what to expect (especially food and cabins) that booking again in the future will be less daunting. Thankyou xx

The island has changed so much! A few couples that we met on this sailing we're also telling us what the island was like before it's renovation.

I do love the Oasis class as she was our first RCCL Cruise. I loved the Aqua Show. I would love to sail on the Odyssey and compare Quantum class.

Hey guys just catching up on some of your vlogs from the recent past. Just got off independence of the seas out of port Canaveral which included a visit to perfect day at Coco cay. We had a wonderful time. We did pay the up charge for the full day at Coco Beach club and It was fabulous. The lunch was the best food we had on the entire cruise, having drinks at the beach and in the infinity pool was awesome. We were sailing on a full cruise 4000+ so the limited 200 person capacity at the Coco Beach club was spectacular.

Congrats, Ben & David, you finally made it to Coco Cay. But you didn’t seem to have enough time due to the delay in docking there. You also saw Oasis I had to cancel over 10 years ago. I was there in Sep ‘19 on Grandeur after calling at Bermuda and Nassau. I had a boat ride to Berry Is to cuddle a swimming pig. It was my hen party I never had with my 3 stuffed female dogs. I won’t have such a perfect day on the beach again. June of London (Lucy, a Chow, on my profile pic)
So glad you could get there after the transfer -- looks great. I'm always partial to HALs private island, as I'm less into rides and such, but Perfect day looked great.

During the Christmas holidays, they had most of their items 50% off. It might’ve been a black Friday type of deal. But I’ve also seen it go 25% to 35% off before the cruise.
Although the place looks perfect I was astonished that you had to pay such high prices for things like the water park! Shocking if you are travelling with a family!
Looks fantastic there - while we have -20 c here near Toronto - if you try funnel cake again add some vanilla soft serve ice cream and strawberries or strawberry sauce.

Loving your Vlogs Ben & David sooo fun to watch, though we are so jealous watching them from here in Brisbane, Australia. We can only watch on at the moment in antisipation to when we can leave our shores to cruise or even holiday again. In 2015 we were on "Quantum of the Seas" out of New York on an 11 night cruise to the Carrabean we had the best time ever as a family, now our two boys are adult men & waiting to see the world for themselves, how time has flown & the disruption this Pandemic has caused to all of us. We cannot wait to return to Royal Caribbean on any ship really though I prefer Quantum class as I find Oasis class ships way to big just my choice, though my wife wants to try the now new current biggest ship in the world & fleet the brand new "Wonder of the Seas" but for now, for us, just to get back to cruising again is a dream we can hopefully soon look forward to again. Caribbean again definately & on "Odyssey of the Seas" hopefully, beautiful ship & Coco Cay looks very nice also. Keep up the great work guys & keep our mouths watering & eys running with your funny humour on your cruise adventures, loving it 😂 . Take care & stay safe 🙌😎

@@Cruisewith That is what I figured to be the case... and why I wanted to make sure to comment about it so you guys know that, yes, there are people out there noticing those kinds of details.
Audio, especially, is something that the more the viewers are able to just take for granted how great it sounds the more hard work went in to making that so. Especially with the on location shots.
There are several very good cruise channels that I watch, and each is great in its own way, but I personally can't think of another that creates the production quality of on location that you guys do.
(Unless they just sprinkle in some professionally shot stock footage shots :-)
So enjoy watching you both and learning more about cruising. Hopefully we will be sailing Ovation of the Sea this summer to Alaska (hoping things are a little more normal by then).

I am just off the Mariner of the seas this Friday. We went to the Cocoa Beach Club… it was wonderful and we paid 140 per person and worth it for the very quiet place and lobster and huge prawns included. Service to the beach was spectacular😊
Ok well maybe a little more convinced now. Maybe we should check out the club on our next visit.

We got off the Oasis on January 23-30. We had a truly PERFECT DAY at Coco Coco Cay on January 24th. 75 degree low humidity was great. We had 2700 passengers with only depending on source none to 3 crew with positive tests. Great cruise.

The prices of everything on the island are ridiculous. It’s all RCCL anyway - to charge $100 per person for a small water park with about 3 slides is a joke. Can get into Volcano bay for less than that

With with all the cruises you both have taken I was surprised to see that you had never been to Coco Cay! I was there for the first time this past December and I had a BLAST on the water slides and beach!!! Fantastic!!! Odyssey looks great and a bit different than the others! Continue to enjoy! ⚓️
Well, when my parents and I went on Odyssey, we got to go to Coco Cay. It was nice. When we had the back side room and my own bedroom, we could see them backing in and leaving Coco Cay after we rembarked the ship. It was fun. I wonder why they won't let people go there now.
We booked our first ever cruise a couple of years ago then covid struck and it was cancelled. You guys have given such wonderful insight into cruising and what to expect (especially food and cabins) that booking again in the future will be less daunting. Thankyou xx
