Actually, if you paid attention to the last riddle, you know that those people were the only ones in the house, and the butler's alibi was that he was giving orders to workers in the living room, yet everyone else's alibi states they were in a different room, except maybe the wife herself.

I thought it was the first or second because the first ones hand was really shiny like she just washed it and the second one could have used paint to cover up the blood.
Derek Pulley Paint is a bad cover up for blood. The colors could mix and most likely smell funky. Making it easy to call out killer. But because Jennifer hadn't been swimming like she said it was clear she was killer.
I found out before the timer started because i have a swimming pool and my hands always get wrinkled after an hour or 2. If i were here i would say i was swimming for 20 mins

Hey 7 doesn’t make sense. They never said anything about her GETTING a knife when she thought it was her husband but she said a criminal pushed so she stabbed him with a knife. What if she just thought it was her husband and just stabbed the robber cause ummm... HE WAS A ROBBER?

Yup and it was sunday so usually there aren't that many workers he could give instructions. But yeah he was instructing workers but none of the other present people confirmed his story. So it would've either been a conspiracy of everyone but the butler ór the murderer was the butler. Oh and a murderer would never make such a dumb mistake like saying 'breakfast' when it's evening. Annd its pretty normal to make breakfast the evening before right?

On the last riddle I think the butler actualy had something to do with it. He said he was giving orders to workers in the living room, but the only workers in the house at that time were the ones here, who all said that they were in places other than the living room. This leaves two options: either the workers questioned all lied or the butler lied.

The last riddle is wrong. The butler said he was giving instructions to the other workers, but the other workers said they were doing other things. It has so many variants, like that both the cook and the butler are guilty, or that all the workers conspired against their boss, but two of them stabbed in the back the butler.
StopMotion Minifigures I'm thinking the cook and butler did it as well. Butler said he was giving people instructions. Meaning he could've gave instructions on how to cover up their tracks but everyone found out before they could do so. Meaning butler could've easily played it off as it wasn't him and making the cook the only one to get arrested.

In #8, I chose the first because the detective used a drone to take photos, and the A house has a skylight, so maybe the saw the criminal.

For the last riddle. If these were the only people in the house. Yes you can consider the cook. But it said the Butler was telling the "workers" in the living room what to do. No one else was in the living room. So I don't see how that's possible, the Butler could be another possible murderer.
I agree but it seems they want you to go for the simplistic answers barely any of the cases would give the detective a sufficient reason to be able to arrest these murders and many of the cases have plot holes but maybe I just thought about it much I came up with multiple answers for pretty much each one

You can only consider the cook if you don't know how food works. There's nothing odd about making breakfast in the evening as a number of things need to be left alone for a few hours. For example, anything with gelatin.
