You’re right, today’s Tekken is like an anime. After around 4 or 5 years of Korea arc where Japan and NA trying their best to have the equal power, and some of them do, the new Pakistan arc that’s teased by Arslan Ash is now starting to roll and ready to stir the Tekken world for several years ahead.

I remember SpagRip talking about when a Pakistani player visited the U.K. (there’s a large Pakistani community in the U.K., especially London) and he dominated the local scene like no one had seen before and everyone was shocked when he said that he’s not really that good compared to other players in Pakistan. This was a couple of years ago I think.

I think the problem with Knee is that he doesn't utilize his opponent's weaknesses due to his devotion to a default korean defensive playstyle. As Kazuya he didn't do any lows even though his opponent never ducked. I am not talking about hellsweeps, but even normal low pokes, while Akuma used them all the time, this overall made the game for Akuma-guy so much easier imo.
