The Z flip 5 is my first foldable, and I have owned it for 3 months as well. I have had zero issues with it, and I love this phone. It is badass. Holding the phone without a case on it feels premium.
Your brightness seems to be up really high. This could be a contributor to the battery dying quickly. Something i did that helped was putting all my apps in deep sleep. This keeps them from running in the background eating your battery too. Along with turning on low power mode and dropping down to 60hrz.(this one alone prolongs your battery.)It doesn’t noticeably change the speed of anything. For me these things keeps my battery all day. I end my day with my phone at 30-35%. Hope this helps you.👍
I keep going back and forth between the Razr Plus and the Flip 5 as my first foldable and first Android phone. I've been using an iPhone since 2007. Even though the Razr has a better external display, I think the Samsung's better chip and camera make it overall better for me.
Great phone, love this little thing. Its proven durable, good battery life for me, flexible (literally lol)...if samsung keeps that insane trade in credit program,i'll be getting the new one every year.
After using it since august Pros - show off - super compact - different/stand out from others - great build quality Cons- the crease, - haptics can be better - i do need to be extra careful with this phone compared to my nothing phone.
@@baguette1239 not really. The crease was barely noticeable out of the box, but after a few fold it got a lot deeper, then it stayed that way. The crease can be annoying if you are under the sun or in a very bright room.

I love this phone. I waited until there was a bigger screen before trying the flips and I'm not disappointed, even the file shape has grown on me. I do use good lock so can use a lot more apps than the stock does although there are some that are not optimised so i do have to open the phone, but that doesn't really bother me. Regarding the cover screen, I do find sometimes it freezes on me maybe it's down to all the open apps ,which you suggested in your video.
I just got mine and I did research on it before purchasing it, but was reluctant about a few months down the line. However, this video gives me relief that I made the right choice
I fan of iPhone before, after iPhone u pay expensive but many problems that u get.. So i move to samsung ecosystem so far i happy it with samsung ecosystem.. Then next year gonna update new again.. 😇
8 months with flip5 and I’ve had no problems battery is good for my usage and the camera is good enough for my needs which is just to capture fun memories of my kids

Hi, some people say the battery is ok, not the best but gets you through the day. Can you advise if this phone would last me through the day without charging? (7am to 8pm) I do these while outside/at work: -GPS should always be on -brightness above 50% -I get/make calls approx 5 times (5 mins average per call) -spotify while traveling back(1.30 hrs) -I play games during break/lunch(30 mins average) -RUclips & other social media average 2hrs -wifi while at work and mobile data is on while outside (2.30 hrs total, 4hrs if continuously outside) I like the flip, just worried I might have to juice it up halfway to go through my usual day.
Hi, I have the flip 5 and I LOVE it. My battery life isn't bad at all. It lasts me from 7 am to 8 pm no problem with almost constant youtube, audiobook, or spotify going. I generally don't charge until I'm laying down for bed between 9 and 11 pm. I dont recall it dying on me yet. I would recommend if GPS needs to be on and high brightness you bring a mini portable charger to be safe if this is something you're interested in. I keep dark mode on constantly. I turn off wifi, Bluetooth, and GPS if im really trying to conserve, but they mostly all stay on. I also keep power saving mode on always. I can't really tell the difference in performance. Samsung also has a smart feature that learns your usage patterns to best optimize your battery life so I would give it about 5 days of normal use to really see what the battery life will end up being over the course of the phones life. If you purchase from just about any carrier or even directly from samsung, I believe you have a 14 day return window so that's plenty of time to see if it will work for you.

Hello. As someone using my flip 5 for the past 3-4 months, I think your battery usage is a little higher than usual. The phone lasts perfectly for me, but I think with your usage it'll definitely trouble you midway thru ur day. For best battery, go for Xiaomi/Redmi. You will forget about battery issues for eternity
I just traded mine into Samsung for the S24 plus. I told myself I really like the phone when I got it. As time went by, I liked it less and less. The screen and battery life killed it for me. Cases are just terrible for this phone. I went through 4 or so, and never found one that stayed on the phone, or was able to give it adequate protection. Dont think I would ever get a flip style phone again.
Even the Flip 6 won't offer superior camera quality compared to my S21 base model. The video clips from the Flip 5 exhibit significant clipping, with scenes often appearing washed out and lacking detail, particularly in the sky where clouds are rarely visible.
the reality is a smartphone with a tiny screen can still statisfy. you should do a challenge of not flip opening this phone for a month and do everything on that tiny ass screen.
Remember people do a phone restart atleast once a week and keep your memory clean not 100000 photos and videos lol. Most people don't know how to keep up with important things. Then they complain why it's running slow etc... Its like a car you have to take care of it. ANY PHONE.
I think I made a mistake buying this I had mine purchased on black Friday I regret buying it watching your video with my 1% battery 😂 one more thing everyone u called someone and hang-up there is advertisements popping up on the screen witch is annoying
I love this phone, but it is not durable or long-lasting AT ALL! I am on my 2nd phone(replacement) and the plastic ridge where the elastic to bend the phone sits are cracked! They should have used a metal outer ridge/frame!!!😠 I pray to God that the screen does not start glitching/malfunctioning like my first flip 5.
