loved the field music pard, especially when on the march .. thanks pard for music *LIKED* the video --LT
So glad you enjoyed it. This was the first video we ever posted on this channel!
I would love to see more fife videos from Roy. RUclips has hardly any beginner instruction for the instrument, and Roy is such an amazing ambassador for the music.
Hey, that's a very good idea! I know that when Roy started fifing, we looked for videos for how to play simple tunes on the fife. Roy could certainly do that with tunes as well as with explaining the instrument.
@@mr.roywulfYou certainly should!
@@sp00k48 It's on the to-do list!
I've begun playing fife in the last couple months, and just recently, I finally went out and purchased myself a Peeler Fife copied from an original Firth and Pond.
That's quite a coincidence! I own a Peeler Ferrary fife, and I also purchased another Peeler Ferrary (in the mopane wood) as a gift for a friend who plays the flute. I'm very happy with the Ferrary, so I am sure you will like the Firth and Pond replica.
@@mr.roywulf Also, any advice on fifing would be greatly appreciated.
@@sp00k48 I'll see if I can find time to get around to posting some videos about that.
Didn't you reenact as a fifer with the Regiment von Huyn and play German tunes on the violin at The Hunters Head Tavern in Upperville, Virginia after a Field Day in Waterford?
Yes, that's me too.

@@mr.roywulf Neat! I thought it was you!
@@sp00k48 So, were you there in person or did you see a video of it posted?
@@mr.roywulfSorry for the late response, I saw a video of it.
@@sp00k48 Yes, very good. Thanks!
