David is family so I've seen him multiple times and it's always a joy. The whole band stayed with us and they were a delight. Their music is so lively and catchy, you can't help but crack a smile. Can't wait until the next time they come through town.
I saw this band at the Meadowgrass Music Festival in Colorado Springs, and thought it was one of the best live performances I've ever seen. Give them a bigger stage and watch them dominate it!
Going to see then again this year, Sept 20(something) cd release party at the iron horse in North Hampton, Ma where they currently live. Davids cousin is currently touring w/them. Great addition to the band
so basically... i saw rango today. AND every song that was in the movie sounded like yes maria yes and I would get so excited, but the david wax museum never played a single song in the movie. Someone must be sued.
1:29 That is the worst feeling/sound for an upright bassist. Bridge pops out of place. >:( NOOO! This band is awesome, Nevertheless. Just thought I'd share.

It was so great having David Wax Museum in our studio. Fun group, great music.
There's nothing like the sound of a blunt object clanking against the mandible of livestock...takes me back to my youth.
Damn! Bad luck for the bassist ON THE FIRST SONG! I saw them at a living room concert a while back. They were Really awesome! So much energy!
They were great in Newport!!
I got a fever, and the only prescription is more jawbone.

David i think i've met you at a party just off Clark Lane in Columbia. It looks like you guys are doing great!
GO TIGERS!
that's a trad instrument, the jawbone. It was replaced by a facimile later, but that is the original.
donkey jawbone. I was at a show where one of the teeth shot off across the room!
his bridge collapsed...no strings were broken in the making of this video
that second tune will move you. amazing. thank you.
The Tom Ze record up top is a nice touch

Such carefree energy!! :]
I've heard both David Wax and The Low Anthem play Rest in the Wake of the Lord. Who wrote it? It sounds like on old hymn or something.
is she playing a jaw!!??!!!! yes!!!!!!
Nice
ok, the jaw is weird,.. but where the heck did the guys strings go on the guys bass go!?!?!
i do believe... she is playing with a jaw :/
i think that the sax player should join permanently
What Gibson is that guitarist playing? I thought it was an ES-137 but there is no moon crescent fret.
@Kajintoz agreed.
bass string snaps at 1:27
because a cowbell is too mainstream...

she is such a fox holy god

Somewhere in the world a cow is playing a human face and making ridiculous faces while it sings.
