If you're going to zoom out on Ruth, don't forget who Moab was. Back during the Israelite's journey through the wilderness it was the king of Moab who hired Balaam to curse the Israel (the whole talking donkey scene) and when he could only bless them, Balaam told the king of Moab that he could get the Israelites to curse themselves by lining the road with all the hottest babes in his kingdom and seducing the men of Israel into committing adultery. And even before that, Moab is descended from Lot (Abraham's nephew). After the whole Sodom and Gamorra thing, Lot's two daughters despaired of getting husbands and so they got Lot super drunk and slept with him. That's Moab. And yet, if you flip to Matthew chapter 1, there's Ruth the Moabite listed by name in the genealogy of Jesus. God can take the ugliest and dirtiest people and redeem them and do amazing and beautiful things.

Ham only looked upon his father's nakedness and told his brothers. They went in and covered him up without looking upon him. After the Flood, brothers had to marry sisters or cousins to repopulate the earth. Canaan was cursed by Noah because the curse would come back on his father, Ham. @@martinkuliza There are many different ways to connect things in the Bible. Some are obvious but others are more subtle one thing we know by reading the bible is that God is the same yesterday, today and forever, that is true from the Old Testament through the new and now. We also know that through the entire Bible the Lords people are saying the same thing, turn from your evil ways and turn to God or there will be consequences for your actions. The Bible is the inerrant Word of God and He said in his word that "If you love me you will follow my commandments", His commandments are in the Bible however following them will not save your soul from hell. I did the “Bible in 90 Days” study a few years ago. It had the MOST profound impact on my Christian walk. I found the Bible to be as much of a miracle zooming out, as I did zooming in.
The more I dig into the bible, into context, history, into deeper understanding, into connections between the books of the bible, the more fascination I feel, including the awareness that we always can learn more and how awesome it is that those old scriptures are still so important and up to date in their wisdom for us modern people and always will be. It definitely does my soul good to find your content and how you share your joy to discover the bible.
A wonderful idea! I like the way you explain it, “zooming out”! Also, 100000% respect for the little sticker covering the shirt gap! A detail most anyone wouldn’t care about!!!
I first saw the foreshadowing of the cross in Proverbs, when I began reading the Bible for myself. It was like a new revelation that God was personally revealing to me; and although I know God reveals these things to all honest, deep thinking seekers, I still felt blessed that God chose to reveal such things to me. God is such a personal God!
The Bible interprets itself as it is meant to be one continuing dialog, not two separate books. The Bible is written To, For, and About Hebrews and we as Believers are to be grafted into Them; it is written with a Middle Eastern mindset, and culture, and not with a Western mindset or culture. The Bible is a Hebrew marriage covenant and comes to a full circle as a wedding ring, this is why He is coming back…..for His Bride the Believers (stump and grafted in branches) Love This!
Read the whole thing and it starts locking in whilst you study. My husband and I recently took up doing this at the beginning of the year, we are in Deuteronomy, and SO many things in the Bible are chaining together and making sense. You start to see a more clear vision of God and a clearer vision of yourself…. You can’t come away any different. All the lies you have been taught by the world start to fade and even everyday life starts to make more sense….. Love God’s Word. ❤
So good. God will use anything and every situation to be a blessing to his people. We should not complain. Even when things look bad he turns it around for good. "Look at the big picture." I am blessed.❤👍🏽

This is my first time to see your videos. When i was praying this morning, i asked the Holy Spirit to help me understand the bible verses i was going to read and know what was being talked about. I was going to read the 1st chapter of Romans and got stuck on the first verse. I asked the Holy Spirit what the word was for a book that gave you more insight. The word commentary came to mind, so i looked it up and read it several times. Now your video comes up on my phone for the first time. I think He is telling me something, so i subscribed. May the Lord bless you in a mighty way. ❤
All are creatures of God.....All are NOT the "children of God." Recall Jesus words to some of the religious leaders of His day (scribes and Pharisees), "You are of your father, the Devil." To become a child of God, one must be born into His family -- via the "second birth......being "born again." John 1:14 --"For as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe in His name."
My land sakes what do you intentionally look for reasons to be offended . . There is giving and taking away we will add you to our prayers for understanding and peace within .
I love your excitement about Bible study. I would definitely attend your Bible studies. God is so great God used you to inspire me. Thank you and God bless y’all I’ve got to get busy “zooming out”. Perhaps with Elijah and God using dirty ravens to feed him. And then using the window and not allowing her flour or oil to run out. And then …
That's all great and good. But the most important thing is to witness the people. And to give them your testimony. Don't forget while you're studying to witness and give testimony. It's really the most important part. Praise the lord. Secondly. To pray fast. God has answered so much prayer for me. I stand in all of him.
I heard a born again Jew explain the whole Bible in a sermon one time by “zooming out.” He taught it the way his Rabbi father explained and it made so much sense and it helped me so much.

Wow, I really like your understanding and explanation. ❤the way you realize Gods true word.
Hit the nail on the head with this one! It is exactly why I struggle with reading the bible. Thanks for your perspective here, immensely helpful!
A wonderful idea! I like the way you explain it, “zooming out”!
Also, 100000% respect for the little sticker covering the shirt gap! A detail most anyone wouldn’t care about!!!
I love you with Godly love.. It's amazing When I see others who know and Love God..🙏🏾🙏🏾 to you and all the saints.. and future saints..
So true. I love your joy and energy from God's love, grace, and mercy from God's Word.
Inspiring Young Woman! Thank You, Sister!!! 🫶🏼
Amen! I love your content! Just stumbled upon it and it is a huge blessing. May God continue to use you 🙌🏻
She calls others as dirty gentiles
Thanks for that sister! May the Lord bless you in Jesus name! Amen and amen!
Amen! Yes! ❤ it’s amazing! Our God is amazing!
Yes agree God can use anybody for His glory
"Dirty gentiles like you and me" love it!
bahahaha
What does that mean tho?
@@thisislife2383it means that we are all sinners and we all fall short of God's grace, no one is perfect or sinless.
I don’t like it, the connotation is too negative and this video can be used to call people dirty.
@@kalualauber1921 I agree. Dirty is not what the Bible describes Ruth. So don’t use it.
Thank you for your teachings and talks and faithfulness. God bless.😊
Thank You God for Your WONDERFUL CHANGE and Understanding God bless you 🙏.
Love her spirit and thank you 🙏❤️
Everybody needs to hear your videos you have the best faith-based videos on RUclips
That’s beautiful
So good. God will use anything and every situation to be a blessing to his people. We should not complain. Even when things look bad he turns it around for good. "Look at the big picture." I am blessed.❤👍🏽
Love how you can guide us when we need a wider understanding of the bible studies 🙏
Ok I need you in my life to teach me to put the Bible times and story
together 😊
@emro164can you provide this site please?
AMEN SISTER PREACH IT!! AMEN!!
God i want to be in a room full of people like you. If you kake a thousand videos a day ill watch em all . Thank you! I love the smile when you called us dirty! 😊
right!
WOW!!!!! Beautiful explanation, I hope all those people that have a hard time comprehending the truth will finally realize that what you are saying is CORRECT!! 🙏🏻🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🙏🏻😘
Paul said, I bow my knees daily and He prayed for the eyes of his understanding to be opened. When you do this you see as never before. Your life will be changed ❤😊
Thanks I needed too hear that. Praise God
Prophet Moses: Hear O Israel, Lord, our God is one.
Prophet Jesus: Hear O Israel, Lord, our God is one.
Prophet Muhammad: Say: God is One.
Peace, be upon them all.
This is such a great explanation! I’ve been trying to come up with these words because this also revolutionized my study of Scripture, but I didn’t quite know how to say it. Would love to see more content for laypeople on how you make those connections
God bless you!
Love how happy you are to share this
Angie Smith’s Bible Study does a beautiful job of zooming out and showed the storyline leading up to Jesus. While I knew all the stories individually, seeing them all lined up and pointing towards Christ is quite amazing.
Amen! And you’ve definitely been called to teach
Very well said.
My grandmother was a youth group leader for many many years.
She would approve
I am loving the Bible Recap! I have never enjoyed studying the Old Testament as much as I do now! ❤️
Yes, same here
God bless you!
God bless you!
Same here
Amen! I’d say the second thing is to imagine they r right there telling u firsthand. Like listening to great …grandpa Noah. These were real people … the HS still speaks through them. We learn from them
And as believers we will learn from them one day! They’re waiting for us to join them in the great cloud of witnesses!
LOVE Zooming Out!! Thank you so much for sharing this🦋🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
❤❤
Amen you are right I'm glad there's people that truly want to be with the Bible and love it we need more of this in the world keep it up and keep the order and keep everything you have were taught cuz it means so much to me on the world😅😅😊
Great explanation kind of like expounding only in reverse
Ruth was no longer a Moabite. She became an Isrealite when she said to Naomi that her God would be her (Ruth's) God. He only has one people, Israel.
Glory be to God for giving you the understanding to decipher the Holy Scriptures!
Thank God for you sister!
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Hallelujah!
Amen.
❤❤
Oh my goodness! How incredible is this advice! I just learned that is a great way to study the first few chapters of I Chronicles. Thank you!!
Every single thing you said was in our pastor's sermon this past Sunday!
I found that to be true often. It was as if God had a message to give people in an areas. I don't believe in accidents.
God bless you!
So...your pastor is getting his sermons off youtube....😒
@@missvixen45 Or God spoke the same word through two different people.
@@missvixen45 I have talked to someone and they said the same thing. I thought God had the same message for many. Same message from God.
If you study in Hebrew , you will have greater understanding. God sees everyone unclean until we turn to Him for cleansing. He loves us
Very true, the hard thing is to learn Hebrew tho😅
God loves all who God let hear and understand. 🍷❤️🔥
Do you know of an app or site for studying Hebrew?
@@no1Mariah do you mean learning the language or the Bible in Hebrew?
@@maggiekarisangladadavis4178 Hmm. Both, I guess. If I learn the language, wouldn't I be able to read the Bible in Hebrew? Is there a distinction?
We are not ‘dirty gentiles’. We are the children of the Most High Father and Creator of all!
😅😅😅😅😅😅
All are unclean
All are creatures of God.....All are NOT the "children of God."
Recall Jesus words to some of the religious leaders of His day (scribes and Pharisees), "You are of your father, the Devil."
To become a child of God, one must be born into His family -- via the "second birth......being "born again."
John 1:14 --"For as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe in His name."
@@theelizabethan1Jesus was an Essene. He would have never Approved of Paul's Luciferian Vatican.
My land sakes what do you intentionally look for reasons to be offended . . There is giving and taking away we will add you to our prayers for understanding and peace within .
Great suggestion! Thank you very much for such greater perspective and understanding all those connections!!!
Sister you are God sent for my generation, may the Lord keep you strong in Jesus name .this is a blessing to me
❤ love it thank you so much. You are a true blessing
God bless you!
Ask the Holy Spirit to show you the wisdom of the scriptures before you start your studies.
Did you say dirty non jew???
I love your excitement about Bible study. I would definitely attend your Bible studies. God is so great God used you to inspire me. Thank you and God bless y’all I’ve got to get busy “zooming out”. Perhaps with Elijah and God using dirty ravens to feed him. And then using the window and not allowing her flour or oil to run out. And then …
Thank you. I look forward to my new Bible study and understanding of the Bible.
Oh yes, if it had not been for The Lord we would have been consumed.... Love this!!
Thanks to God jesus christ and your message and prayers and blessings and everything. Amen
This was a revelation for me praise the Lord Jesus thank you ❤🙏 it shows how we all play our roles in our time here ❤
Thank you for that breakdown may the True and Living God Bless you! In Jesus the Christ Mighty name! halleluYah
Just now found you! I have to say I absolutely love you! I felt an immediate connection to the way you explain things. I can’t wait to watch more!
God you're great thanks again looking back to the story I am happy to know that Naomi was a great grandmother to David in Jesus name 🙏
This is such excellent advice, it’s the #1 thing I suggest to people struggling with understanding and enjoying the Bible!!
I absolutely LOVE your enthusiasm 🙏
I just read Ruth yesterday!! Clearly this is meant for me ❤ thank you and GOD BLESS YOU!!
