Your knowledge and the ability to explain to others is unprecedented. I personally, learn so much from every one of your presentations !! Keep up the good work 💯
That's my next humble "upgrade". Already using gtx 1660 super with an i7-4770k and changing to a ryzen 5 1600x. Barely worth it? Not at all? Please give me your opinion.
If you can spend a little bit more, you could go for a Ryzen 5 5600. This is a versatile CPU and will set you up for the next GPU upgrade. Unless you get the 1600X, motherboard, and DDR4 RAM for very cheap, it might make more sense to set sights on a 5600. Really depends on what you want to do. But yes, the 1600X would be an improvement over the 4770K.
@@TheBoostedDoge The 5700XT is better paired with the 5600. 1600X is older architecture and though it would generally be ok, there would be less chance of bottleneck with the 5600.
@@TheBoostedDoge You bet! 1600X is 1st gen Ryzen and 5600 is 5th gen. Same core/thread count, but overall better performance and supporting higher speeds in PCIe lanes for graphics cards, RAM speeds, and m.2 SSD's(applicable with a motherboard)

How much is it?
I currently have it listed locally for $460 CAD
Why not an RX5700 XT?
No reason, just what I have that pairs well together. I do have an RX 5700XT that I will pair with a Ryzen 5 5600
@@HaisteComputerRepair ah gotcha!

@@HaisteComputerRepair Yeah I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to AMD CPUs. 'preciate the explanation!
