I have the opposite problem. My 12v (right one) isn't working. You said it's bank 5? What does bank mean? Just what slot it's in? After further investigation I think the actual plug is bad. It'll stay on for a few seconds then shut off

Thank you sir I just got a 2016 and the drives 12V didn't work the manual sucks to say the least #83 was popped I replaced it and all is good now.

Running a diesel that low on fuel is only a good idea if you have to pull the fuel tank.
Keep it above a quarter to save yourself some grief.
