Rin it really is. I for one didn’t know that crouching block also blocks normal attacks :P makes blocking now a lot easier

My one complaint with this video is that, while it’s nice that he gives an overview, he piles on way too much information all at once for someone who has no idea what they’re doing.
I’ve never been able to learn a traditional fighting game and this just makes me nervous.
The in-game tutorial is much better at piecing out this information. You can read Oleander's dialogue and take it in at your own pace, and have instant feedback as you try stuff out for yourself.
This video is great. But it's been 10 months. :(

How do I perform these "quarter circles" on a keyboard? Do I have to use diagonal keys on the numpad? With the regular four arrow keys I have tried to overlap the keypresses but I can't work out how fast it is supposed to be done and it never works.
Quarter circle forward for example, would be:
down key
down key and forward key
Forward key
all in one fluid motion. I hope that helps. It makes sense in my head but I don't explain so well.
Just down->forward works fine

Am I dumb, I can’t get the super attack to work at all, I’m in practice and doing the “quarter circle and attacks” but nothing happens

I’ve been most comfortable with a keyboard but quarter turn with arrow keys has been a pain. Any pointers?
Unfortunately I'm not a keyboard user, but several of our top players are. I'd recommend asking on the forums or the community Discord for tips. I'll consider making a video for keyboard users in the future.

I don't know but the super don't work...I tried it soo many time and it didn't work...maybe I just suck too much but I always did quarter circle forward and 2 attacks
are u using a keyboard? try checking if your keyboard has ghosting issue( cant register/input 3 or more keys so it doesnt work) but to be sre are you pressing the 2 attacks at the same time or simultaneously?

Usually you press the attack button after doing the motion. A common mistake is to do the attack button before the motion ends.

It's hard for me to estimate when the next video will be out, but know that part 2 is 75% done and I am still working on it, little by little.

They're also the first two characters to be fully animated, so they're symbolic in a way.
2:18 ... Why would you have medium in the triangle position, and magic in the X position?

I find it easier to hit X than Triangle, so I think it should be something I use more often
@Christian Dean Matthew I've never tried, but it seems to me like you have to move those sticks a long distance very quickly, and it would make it harder than just moving your thumb on a pad
