I enjoy this show not only because of the historical aspect but also the judging allows no room for politics or personal interpretation, only the purity of hard work.
Wow, Jennifer is one of the few contenders that truly does it the old way: charcoal oven and manual hammering. The grinding was not with a stone but that's easily excusable. In fact I don't think I have seen a single contender using a grindstone. Very impressive.
I love how you can just look at her and see she's a smith who hand hammers. Her right arm and shoulder are so much larger than the left. I used to do blacksmithing at a Renaissance festival using a charcoal forge and hand pulled bellows counter weighted with rocks to control air flow. At the end of every season I would be ridiculously asymmetrical. My right arm and shoulder would be clearly larger from swinging the hammer while my left lat and pectoral would be huge from working the bellows.
Jennifer had no: 1. Bends 2. Cracks 3. Warps 4. It wasn't to thin So that means that your blade was 💯% Perfection & now it's time to party with Jennifer 🥳 🎉 🍻 🎊 ➕ Jennifer you just won 🏆 10,000$ 💵💵💵💵💵 & You Won 🏆 The Title Of Forged In Fire Champion. James blade 1. UNFINISHED BLADE To prove it pause ⏸ this clip at 5;20 you'll see the two delaiminatons on his sword.
I love watching the final rounds. Doug is my favorite guy in this. He looks like a kind in a candy store when he gets to play with newly forged blades. :D
The model Flissa shown in the video was actually the episode's champion's work (Season 5) presented and tested in the show. The champion is also known as the Super Champion Collin Sage, who defeated David Baker in Season 7.
That guy... he made the simplest thing sound like the most serious sentence.... every time he deepened his voice to say "please laeve the forge" I got up and out of my house.
Honestly, considering how bad she did in her Original Episode, I didn't think she had a shot at winning the tournament. I'm actually kind of surprised and a little bit proud of her.
2:15 and 5:18 As James was making his sword you could see A line in his blade it almost looked or was A crack, Some how his blade survived all 3 tests but for sure that line in his blade was A crack.
@@roberthudgins8298 "A SIMP" HUH? SO YOUR SAYING THAT IF YOU'RE "SINGLE" BY THE MEANING YOU HAVE NO MARRIAGE, HAVE NO FIANCE, HAVE NO BOYFRIEND/GIRLFRIEND.. WITH YOUR TWO EYES YOU SAW JENNIFER WITH THAT BEAUTIFUL BODY/FACE & YOU WOULDN'T GO OVER TO HER & INTRODUCE YOURSELF & GET GET TO KNOW HER A LITTLE BIT
Usually, they have some kind of a tie, b ut those two had different sides, she got the design and strength but he got the sharpness and killing abilities, in my eyes, the two have done a good job in those areas. I still don't know the winner yet, but this is what I thought prior to the result.
Imagine being able to say to your girlfriend, "I wish I had a Chinese Dao", then she goes to the forge and makes you one while you're in the kitchen making sandwiches. I'd have mixed emotions here. Realizing I had the best girlfriend, but that I'm the housewife.

Is anyone else surprised we have not seen Eorlund Gray-Mane on this show yet? I hear the man's steel is legendary
I know right they are too scared to bring him in smh
I heard there was a visa issue, apparently there are some imperial lapdogs holding up the borders.
I did want to see the Skyforge too
🤣🤣🤣
Never heard of him.
History Channel needs to focus on more shows like this instead of treasure hunt in shows where they know there's no treasure lol
Yes no once cares about the curse of oakisland like wtf
Or alien theories
I like that show if you’re talking about oak island
Or top gear
Treasure hunting with other poeples money. There are a lot worse ways to do pointless things.

Very impressive.
Anyone who uses a grindstone and turns out a functional blade in four days, no need for any tests just give them the title
and her sword was clearly the best
looks and performance
Yea if she can forge on charcoal then she can do anything

@@Entiox Hans Sayles General Adaptation Syndrome in action!
Anyone who can make something that slices a pig completely in two with one swing is an awesome bladesmith!
Yeah you're right
It would be more impressive if it slices through the ribs and spine in one swing instead of the thinnest part of the pig.
That last test where his sword dident cut the silk was so painful.
Yeah especially after it cut way better on the pig. The rolled/blunted part of the blade must have been exactly the part that hit the rope
It's kinda funny how she is both real girly gal yet being real master weaponsmith.
Jennifer did a great job I'm stoked for her!

Who saw her blinks to the judges after being the champion 😂😂😂😂
Super happy for Jennifer! She seems stoked to win!
Didn't know Mark Wahlberg put on some pounds and started smithing, lol!
If I had the chance to compete on the show I would be measuring the judges hands for the handle
6:20 I thought her sword is gonna break, legit
She had such a solid quench.

Jennifer’s sword was excellent. Well deserved
Her arms 😳😭
Heavy!!!!! XD
James is premium competitor mindset personality
That guy is always haunted by warps!
James’ blade just took too much damage in the strength test. It was far sharper in the kill test, but couldn’t keep up in the long run
It's good to see women blacksmith ❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍
She made a fantastic blade!
Best show on history channel
Top Level Competitors... I Love it
Jenifer is just amazing lol
I thought Jennifer was gonna lose after doug used the most cursed adjective on the show “heavy” but she still ended up winning, awesome.
“Heavy” is a scary word in this show, but “roll, you can hear my nail on it” is the scariest just after “failure”.
Nice. Really like seeing a woman winning. She was a good smith too. Well done.
if a woman try to do a sword in my trib we kill her
The episode I really have been expecting from forged in fire👌
Yeah, this was awesome!
i just bought one of her torch sets
Gosh stunningly gorgeous, smart, and amazing work what more could you ask for.
Anyone notice how her right arm is do much bigger than left lol
Love this programme!
Berber from north africa 🙋♂️😍😍😍😍😍 nice one guys
Anyone else see her wink at 9:50
Haven't finished watching the video, but I see him pouring water on the blade and I'm calling foreshadowing...
I thought exactly the same thing
Yeah. That's something that you shouldn't make.
Reheating or Overheating the blade in portions like that will weaken the hardened steel, good call
Jennifer face during test 😂🤣😂 was more lethal 🤫😈
I love watching forge in fire epsoid
Jennifer's arm game is insane tho
wow, first time I watch a FIF episode with a girl... this is so cool!!! Wish there were more ^^
Best show on tv, just my 2c worth.
beautiful, sword's nice too
well done both

I can't seem to find the video of the Beat the Clock duel. Can anyone please link me? Thanks!
Mark Wahlberg gained some weight
I was rooting for Jennifer and boy! What an emotional roller-coaster this was!
such an elegant sword
Jennifer should've worn the Mandalorian armorer's helmet...
I would like more maces/axes
Great episode!
At this show, i never seen a blade bend on the quench. Why is that tension for during quenching?
Several bent. Some in the shape of an S even. Some even delaminated.
How come J. Neilson hasn't been doing his infamous and violent hack 'n slash testing routines for several episodes of season 8? Is he injured (again)?
Good job girl!! Συγχαρητήρια!!!
Can you make a sword Dayak Borneo... MANDAU... Thanks...

My kinda gal - sweet, fit, skilled, crafty, creative and pretty to…well done…
I’m so glad Jennifer one because she’s the best And either the other Weapons are the best I like the panels the crocodile in the ram
Congrats for Jen. her sword is really solid springy.
All of you need to stop simping.
Good
That chick remind me of Kelly from 'married with childrenried' )))
The right person one. I don't think the other person should have advanced this far. Their blades always seemed to have distressing flaws.
Seeing the way he destroyed his heat treat to remove the warp hurt my soul
Flissa is from Algeria north africa 🇩🇿
I can almost swear this is Kim Wexler (Rhea Seehorn) against Mark Wahlberg's fat self.
Sick
Nice work 🌠✨🎆
Her blade was so obtuse it couldn't cut the shield...
His was more ornate and cut deep...
