- It's cruise day!! Today we are boarding Carnival Celebration with about 100 folks that friends, family, and fellow RUclipsrs!! Some may call in the NON, but let's all be honest....It's a group cruise!! Our day started off at Safe Cruise Parking in downtown Miami with some parking lot shots....after that, the rest is just a blur!! LOL. Watch our antics unfold and laugh along with us!! Parking for a cruise in Miami is a challenge. Either pay jacked up prices at the terminal or do remote parking, like you did.
The worst part is trying to catch your shuttle ride on debarkation day if you do the remote parking, which I experienced last year. So I agree with Amanda.
Yea….that parking was a disaster. It would have been ok if they would have said we don’t run till 9 am …that’s what made it so bad…and then, they wouldn’t own up to it!!! Definitely terminal parking for now on in Miami. Thanks for watching ❤️❤️

Yes….the atrium is no more!!
Parking at the terminal cost twice as much as the other parking options in the Miami area,
that said we agree the port is easier!

First day of cruise is always tiring, travel to the port, going thru embarkation, getting all your thing put away, eating too much, drinking too much, we always head to bed early on embarkation day!
Seems like day one is always the busy day on the ship until the morning where everyone is leaving!
You got that right. The 1st day is busy. No, walking on the ship with no waiting was great. I was complaining 🤣🤣🤣
Thank you for the video. I appreciated when you commented about the very tall glass all around the hip that permits you from looking down at the sea. That is something that is very important to me when cruising. I love to feel connected to the ocean and not have to feel like I am in a fishbowl. can you recommend some ships that is not so closed off and dose not have the walls of glass. I personally feel this whole " safety" issue has gotten totally out of hand and has taken away a lot of the charm of cruising. Thank you again for the video.
This is new for carnival to go this extreme with the glass. Carnivals older ships have more places to be closer to water. The dream class ships have an open deck( breeze, magic, and dream). The Miracle and the Horizon are also good options. If you are into other lines, check out Regal Princess or Celebrity Reflection. Virgin voyages as well 😁😁
