I bought my Frenchie a slow feed bowl a few weeks ago. I can’t believe how much it has worked for him. Frenchies eat very fast and gulp air which causes them upset stomach and alot of gas. With the slow feeder bowl it is a night and day difference . Thanks for the video.
My betty is a rescue and has some really bad food insecurity, she eats so fast she will make herself sick because she is scared we are going to take her food. I got her a slow feeder bowl like the one in this video and put a ball in it so she has to move it around. She is loving it!
Thank you so much for this video! It has helped so much with my boston terrier's eating problems. He has a seizure disorder, so he has to take this medicine that makes him hungry. Last time we took him to the vet he had gained 3 pounds. They said we need to feed him less or he'll get diabetes. And by the way, boston terriers are very prone to having a seizure disorder such as epilepsy, so I think you should include that into 1 of your videos.
I got my puppy the slow feeding bowl. When I fed her the first time with it. She looked at me kinda funny. And it took her a minute to figure it out. It was funny.
Haha yeah it takes time for my dog to figure out too. My dog ate so fast too that he got fat. Then I bought him this " Slow Feeder Dog Bowls Heavy Duty "( search term on amazon ) and it effectively helped my dog eat as slowly as about 8 minutes after he figuring out and successfully keep fit and avoid bloating, choking or throwing up.

just have a curious thought from watching this video. my puppy/dog still vomited many times after eating (feeding with the slow feeder). if the ultimate goal is to help the dog to breakdown and digest the kibbles and prevent bloating, have you try: 1. instead of feed the puppy/dog 2 or 3 times per day, feed 4 or 5 times a day or 2. use a cheap coffee grinder to break down the kibbles (coarse size) or 3. buy another brand which have smaller kibbles.
2 years late to this video. Lol but if ur still around I have a 8 year old Boston. He eats fast but isn't on kibble. He's on fresh food. Would these bowls work with wet/ fresh food too slowing them down eating?
I just subbed...we are getting our third Boston on October 23...put a deposit on her today...glad I found your channel!!! Looking to learn things I did not know!!! Is it wise to get this for a new pup? She will be 8 weeks when we get her...
I use one with my GSD. Not because of any health reason, but it engages her brain a lot more. Much like her kong. It just keep her occupied and thinking a lot more than a normal bowl
My dogs name is Bella too! She is very overweight and I'm looking for a way to slow her down her insanely fast eating, a slow feeder bowl sounds perfect!
Any idea if this helps senior Boston’s with the mess of eating.. like my Maci leaves food all over the place when she eats. Any ideas on how to stop her from doing it or getting her clean her mess up? Lol! Thanks for any advice!
My corgi eats very fast. I bought him a slow feeder bowl from a brand named PETDURO on amazon and it works really well. The bowl is bigger, sturdier and more beautifully designed than those on marketplace. I drop the link here just in case you or anyone who needs it: www.amazon.com/PETDURO-Capacity-Non-Slip-Cleaning-Indigestion/dp/B07LDQNL5Z
How would you feel if your food was put on a bowl that had cracks in it so food falls into the cracks and you couldn't eat your food easily when you were hungry? Or how about if you were forced to eat cereal with a fork instead of a spoon when you were hungry in the morning Wouldnt like it would you? Then stop doing this to dogs it's dog abuse Also yeah the benefits of making your dog eat like this is that they will hate you their whole lives until they die for making them struggle to eat when they were hungry thats the benefit
Miniature schnauzer father here. I thank you good sir! 👍and my friend who recommended this

I bought my 4 month old Frenchie a slow feeding bowl he seems like he's struggling is that normal? He can't reach the bottom of the bowl

Will these bowls work for a 5 month old French bulldog?

I have a 6 month old Yorkie and she eats so fast it's unbelievable for such a small puppy, will this slow feeder be to big for my Yorkie?

lol not sure on that one. Bella eats any that falls on the floor. Do you think smaller amounts might help?
What about water bowls

I tried to feed a Boston terrier with a slow feeder bowl and he just barked and scratched at it until he tipped it over and spilled all the food out 😂

If you think that dog is a fast eater, you should see my dog.
Maybe my puppy is to smart 🤨 he’s still delivering record breaking times with a slow feeder
Maybe the dog thinks it’s getting more food because eating lasts longer.
